JB Hi Fi

This is the first JB Lo Fi that I’ve been to, and it successfully transports you back in time tech-​wise.
I came here at lunch time to check out chromebooks with a work bud, and the display area of the store is downright depressing. Half the chromebooks didn’t even work, trackpads and keyboards are so mashed they don’t respond to any form of human stimuli. Plus, the selection seriously sux! How anyone could make a decision based on what’s available is beyond me.
The apple laptop display fares a little better, but then you’d expect that. The benches were still filthy and full of garbage. The entire store looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in recent times. I will acknowledge that the through traffic of this particular store, located where it is, would naturally mean it’s going to look heavily used. However, that’s all the more reason to get it regularly cleaned, several times a day if need be, and certainly models should be re-​stocked on display to ensure customers have the best possible experience when coming to the store.
After several minutes we left dejected with no clearer understanding on which chromebook would suit our needs. Would I return here? Probably for a charger or other small accessory purchase. I’d never buy big here though, I have no trust and no faith in the store’s ability to deliver given the unkempt state that it is allowed to exist in.

In addition, they have the usual vast collection of DVD’s, CD’s, TV’s, Radios, Headsets, games, Cameras, Whatever you can think of they probably have it if not they probably can get it in for you. A gamer’s dream store!
This store is smaller compared to their other bigger stores but it still does the job. There is bargains galore throughout the store! And most probably you will bump into one or knock it over. Maximizing on their retail space… well played JB.
I tend to go to walk around in a daze at times, I particularly like the camera section just to view them not to buy as i already have a good collection but its always nice to know what other models are available and so forth.

Situated in one of the best locations in the midst of George street in world square shopping centre.
A great electronics shopping experience. Offers a wide variety of mobile phones, accessories, computers, TVs, tablets, music etc.
The store is huge and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
The only major electronic item according to my knowledge which is not available are Computer Monitors.
All in all highly recommended for most of your electronics requirements.
