A village café is what every village needs! Reluctantly dragging myself away from the water playground in Whiteman park I was only just able to coax myself across to the village in search of hydration(which usually results in an ice-cream of some description) and some information. I’m sure this café gets more than their fair share of curious tourists but they take it in their stride, as I browsed the delicious selection of sang as and cakes through the glass display cabinet(as well as the eye candy in the kitchen) I asked the girl at the counter about the trains and other tit-bits of info, she politely redirected me to the info centre and issued me with a map(one piece to the puzzle.) The couple of people soaking up the air con on the tables looked quite pleased with their choice of café and I ensured to report back on the goodies that I had seen. This was a check pint that we later revisited to refuel once we were a little more orientated. Great service, good prices and air conditioned gloriousness!
