So disappointed in the new owners. This used to be a reliable staple for brunch but sadly things have changed under new management. Several items on the menu weren’t available at 9 am on a Sunday morning but this was only mentioned when we all ordered them not when we were seated and given menus. When our alternate meals arrived they also had substitutions. Greasy hash browns instead of delicious baked chats, no avocado on 2 of the meals. No apologies were offered, but then again i don’t think the wait staff even knew. The presentation and quality of the meals is not what it used to be, all suggesting some big problems in the kitchen. One high note was the corn fritters — they were delicious! The wait staff although polite, lacked attention to detail. Forgetting water and cutlery. We won’t be back.

On hearing Café Conti was under new management, I needed to go check it out. I stopped in for brekky on a Sunday morning newbie it got too busy. The menu had two pages of choices, making it hard to choose. I eventually settled on the brekky bruschetta($ 6!!) and was not disappointed. The eggs were perfectly poached and the tomato salsa was just as i expected. I’ll definitely be back to try some other dishes. The food menu is very well priced; the coffee is a little more expensive relative to competitors on this little strip, and whilst the coffee was ok, it wouldn’t be my first choice if i just wanted to go somewhere for a coffee. But a great experience overall — and I’d definitely recommend trying it for brekky!

I’ve had breakfast twice here. Once dine in and once take away. Both times it was fantastic, awesome big Brecky yum pancakes and beautiful french Toast. The staff are very friendly and you don’t have to wait long.

Great all day breakfasts. Staff are always friendly and the brekkys are very hearty. Yum yum yum. Local hangout for me and my family. Coffee is the best in Brisbane.

We had an enjoyable lunch, but it needs more affordable options under $ 20. It is noisy inside, so we ate outside.
