I love how a number of odd little franchises are starting to appear around the place, and it seems like the Spud Bar is one of them. As the name suggests this place specialises the potatoes, and as far as I am concerned, you simply cannot go wrong with potatoes. The signature dish is this really large potatoe cut open and filled with a variety of toppings. I accidentally selected the one with corn(because I am not be big fan of corn, but I am a really big fan of potatoes so I guess that cancelled it out to a degree). The servings are pretty decent, though I would hardly call it a three course meal — more like a snack, but a pretty filling snack. The prices are also really good, meaning that you can step in here and get a takeaway potato if you are feeling a little peckish on your travels along Chapel Street(or wherever else one of these places may be located).

Love this place! As a sweet potato lover I can’t go past it — one of the guys I work with told me sweet potatoes give you a six pack too, bonus! They have yummy vege options, my favorite is sweet potato and dhal. Quick and easy healthy lunch! A new fave.
