good tasting and clean looking asian food, quick service in an informal atmosphere… there’s better/​more authentic asian restaurants to be found in antwerp (in and around the Van Wesenbekestraat, for one) and i’d probably give this place 3,5 stars if Unilocal would let me, but worth popping in if you’re in the neighborhood none the less.

Nothing bad to say about the food: excellent sushi and a quick service. We were seated next to an open kitchen, something that proves that the chef believes in a fair kitchen and skills. The waitress was friendly and checked our needs on a regular base.
Why A-​ok and not a real fan… the interior and atmosphere. It’s great food, but the restaurant does not offer you a cosy table, with soft lightening, where you feel like dining for a while… I miss some cosyness, the lights were to bright, standard tables, …

This is one of Antwerp’s hidden pearls. This is one of those place you need to know off, to come here.
It’s a small Asian restaurant, only a few tables so when you wanna come in the weekends, you should make your reservation. During the week you can walk in whenever you want, they’ll fit you in.
I always come here to have Endamame and Sushi Combo A or B (depending with how many people I am). The combo A really hits the spot when you are by yourself or it’s just you having sushi.
The menu says 18 pcs but trust me… They give a lot more which is awesome! Same goes for the combo B… The bridge is huge and it has over 50 pcs on there i guess. It’s also pretty neat that they give you handrolls and tempura shrimp on this combo
All by all… one of the better sushi/​Asain places ‘t Zuid has to offer for reasonable prices
One tip: in the winter, bring a jacket because there might be possibility there’s a small breeze going through the restaurant
