Food was delicious and BIG portions, we got the chicken snitzel and vegetarian sandwich. Potato salad with the snitzel was really good. Staff is friendly and most speak fluent English. I do recommend bringing cash because they had an issue with their card system while we were there.
One of my favorites! They have nice food, good selection of beers and coffees, and a super nice environment. It’s also a nice touch that you can serve yourself with tap water, and they even add some syrup you can add to it, if you like.

It’s true that Demel has super good cakes. The two stars are for the tasty cakes. However, the service should be improved a lot. We had to wait for a very long time until the waitress came to get our orders, and there was another long wait before we could pay. It’s quite an experience. I wouldn’t go there again…
