The waiter was nice and the ceased salad was very good. I felt the pasta was very mediocre though. I would go here again but I would get salad and no pasta. I would recommend going to this restaraunt.

Service has always been slow, but Villa Nova used to be reasonably good, at least for Anchorage. Post-Giorgio, the quality has gone down significantly. An Italian restaurant should be able to manage pasta without overcooking it into mush. A restaurant where the least expensive entrée is over $ 20 should brew…

The food had no taste what taste there was was stale. We had the spaghetti bolognase with a meatball and veal piccata. Both dishes lacked salt, and the familiar dynamic flavors of bolognase was absent. The piccata sauce had a film over it from sitting under a heat lamp maybe. Decent bottle of wine though.
