Sicily’s Pizza

This place is 2 ½ stars for a reason. If I could give it zero stars I would. Pizza was gooey and sloppy. Quite honestly the worst thing I put in my mouth. The pizza was not even sliced all the way through which made it difficult to grab a slice with ease. To make matters worse, the pizza was undercooked. At this rate, what’s the point?
ALSO, another thing, their salad? Yeah, horrific. Ever heard of a salad spinner? My salad was drenched in water, and my croutons were literally floating. U kiddin ! Takin my ass to papa johns cuz I know he’ll treat me right

Rate it a –1 million. their customer service is terrible, if you hate your job so much get a new one. My food was delivered an hour later and when I called, I told them to call me instead of ringing the door bell, of course the delivery man rings the doorbell, not to forget, it’s 1 o’clock in the damn morning. Also their food is horrible. Seriously, only reason they haven’t shut down is because they are ²⁴⁄₇. I would not recommend this place even to my dog.

I like their pizza. I think the crust is good. Even the next day. And I’m pretty picky. The are always consistent, with the service, food and time. And the ingredients (mushrooms) don’t come from a can like lots of places. Chicken bacon ranch calazone –it’s the way to go. But better get two cause you aren’t going to want to share.

Not bad just a simple place to eat and relax with not so crowded place most esp. If u eat solo sometimes… with friendly staff smiling at u.

I know that there are a lot of negative reviews posted on this place, but my visit here wasn’t all that bad. I came in for the dinner buffet at 5:30 and a lot of the pizzas were fresh and hot out of the oven, likewise with the calzones. The employees that I interacted with were friendly and greeted me warmly. The pizza buffet had the standard pepperoni, sausage, Greek spinach chicken, and combo pizzas along with the veggie and meat calzones and they were decent for a buffet.
The one thing I believe has caused all the negative reviews is the restaurant’s practice of keeping pizza out until all the slices are taken before a new one comes out from the oven. The result of doing this is cold and stale pizza that has been under the lights for awhile and then new diners would come in and get these older slices which results in a lot of dissatisfied customers looking for hot and fresh pizza. If they can stop this practice, even though it may seem wasteful to remove pizza that hasn’t been eaten, there would be less negative reviews on this place.

Can I give 0 stars? This does not qualify as food. Edible food like substance does not make it food. Even the desperate and poor should not eat here. Come on people, demand better for what you put in your body.

Tldr: disregard reviews, only 10.99 (drink included!) for a pretty well stocked and tasty buffet means you will be leaving happy!
I love this place! I’ve lived right by it for almost 4 months, never went because I was never hungry when they were open.
I was there at about noon on a Thursday. Everything was fresh! The pizza was good olé sicily’s pizza. Salad was good with plenty of toppings. Pastas, chicken, fruit were all on point. They even had ice cream for the end of the meal.
I had to leave a couple of dollars tip, cause the price was just too good! I don’t understand the old reviews. They must have new management now.
I think I’m going back today.

I have been ordering from this place for years when everywhere else is closed. That is the only reason they are still in business.
The other day I ordered from them and they delivered me cheesecake with strawberries that smelled VERY strongly of mold. I thought I may have mistaken the smell and took a bite, it was rancid and disgusting. I called to ask about it and they said it was EXPIRED and the only thing they offered me was more cheesecake. No discount no cares. I will never order from them again and I hope people read this and stop ordering from them. I will now be ordering from Ski and Benny pizza, they are open til 5am and make much better pizza.

Pizza here is good! Especially with their garlic sauce! Will come back when we go back to Anchorage for vacation!

When I originally ordered I was told one price (33.86) I was charged over 10 dollars more. The delivery driver called me telling me he was writing in a tip (after I gave him cash) when I called to complain I was given the run around and was told the general manager would call me since the call center management could not resolve my issue– I spent FIVE days trying to contact her… never could.
When I asked the driver for a receipt he threatened me to the point I was afraid to open my door to another person an hour later that claimed to have my receipt.
Do not order from them– overall worst experience ever and I used to work in this industry.

Should have listened to my inner voice. Food looked fine but had very little flavor. Pizza was on the buffet line under warm lights but it had been there a while. The place had a lot of empty tables, now I know why. Décor and bathroom and the whole building just looked tired and in need of a clean up. I visit Anchorage 4 –5 times a year but I won’t go back to Sicily buffet.

Ate here 1 time — enough said! (I hate leaving bad reviews and comments but if you want gross and dry old pizza then this is the spot — otherwise your way better off somewhere else but the plus side it’s open 24 hours)

Sicily’s Pizza Buffet in Dimond? NEVER AGAIN!!! went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago with my wife because she wanted pizza. had some pizza, then salad, and then wanted some corn. stepped up to the pan of corn and floating in there was an extra ingredient… a dead fly!!! I was sick to my stomach, and still am!!! I told my wife and she looked pale afterwards because who knows what else food had dead something inside of it. I approached the lady with the short black hair, who is usually the hostess, and she was speechless!!! fly probably got your tongue! that place will eventually kill someone with their insect infested food! I’m not even gonna guess what their kitchen looks like. PLEASE dont eat there… unless you want crunchy corn in your belly! YUCK!

Great location with good food at a reasonable price. They have everything from salad, pizza, pasta and fruits. Sicilys has definitely improved over the years. The renovations they did to this place look great. Perfect place to get a quick bite with friends or a nice sit down meal with your family.

Their buffett lunch is wide and good. Great salad bar and fruits too. Not just pizza.

$ 9.99 for a buffet, I’m not complaining, but you can’t expect anything fancy.
Lukewarm basic pizza selections, salads, pastas, fried rice… desserts.
Even includes beverage. Descent if you just want quantity versus quality.

The food here isn’t all that bad. It is convenient to have a place that is open 24 hours that delivers. It is also nice that they have several drink options. You can even order a 6 pack if you desire. I don’t recommend the pizza because it is not that great, but their gyros are pretty decent!
The low rating comes from a cleanliness issue (whether at the store or from their food supplier I am unsure). I got food poisoning from the pizza here once. I have ordered sandwiches and had no issues, so it may have been just a fluke, but still… once you get food poisoning it is hard to want to give the restaurant another try. If you are ordering a food item that doesn’t take a lot of hands on preparation like fries, cheesy bread, or garlic bread you’ll probably be just fine, but for more finicky folks, you might want to sit this one out.

Please don’t bother. This joint has the worse pizza in town. Who likes a soggy pizza, just gross.

Im sorry the only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of convenience. These guys are open 24hrs and have alot of selections, but the quality is terrible.
Being in Alaska for a few days i caught alil insomnia and loss track of the time. Seeing it was almost 1am and still light outside i got hungry for a 4^th meal for the day. This place was recommended to me so i called. About 45 min later the pizza and cheesy bread show up. The pizza was soggy and not even cut all the way thru. The cheesy bread was okay, but simply over all bad.
I suggest if you are drunk and need something to eat at a late hour then have at it, but if not avoid at all cost.

I liked the food and the choices. I was disappointed in the restroom maintenance.
