Saw this place while exploring Charleston. Got a nice selection of cured meats, but was a little disappointed in the price considering the amount of meat we got. The meats were excellent and definitely have an artisan’s touch. Nice vibe but customer service was lacking.

Artisan Meat Share

Pretty standard foodie fare, but I wasn’t 100% happy. I got the special Hunan pork shoulder sandwich. I’m not sure if it was the sauce or what but something tasted a bit like lighter fluid. Maybe it was vinegar that was just sitting on the cabbage? It was a sandwich that seems like a really good idea on paper…

The regular jerk was good… the teriyaki was coated in a gelatn of goo. Gross. Ive never thrown away jerky before… this was my first time.
