I said for here twice then lady at register asked me «Is it for here or to go?», so I patiently and politely responded«For here please». Receipt says«Eat In» so I was like yes, she heard me. Then I went to the order pick up and they gave me in to go bag… I sat down then opened my whopper and there it is, extra onions in my whopper. I brought it back then told them«I ordered no onion, this is extra onion, could you please fix it for me?» and showed them the receipt & inside of the burger. They didn’t want to do it because they told me to just remove it. I said«I don’t like the flavor of fresh onions and that’s why I ordered it without. Please fix it for me?». So they did, not so willingly, but they did it. I came back to the table with my burger, I opened it up and there they are, fresh onions! I went back again and told them that my burger still have onions as I showed them the inside of the burger. They were not happy at all. They snapped at me and told me «We’re busy, we can’t keep paying attention ONLY to you! You can just remove the onion and you can eat it! You won’t taste a thing!». So I said«Please, I just want to be able to enjoy my whopper. Please fix it» and one of them took that burger roughly saying«FINE!». I got a whopper again, with onions. I went back with it again, asked for refund and left. NEVERGOINGBACKAGAIN. I’m pretty sure that they did it on purpose for the last burger. Yeah, I know, it’s just a fast food restaurant. I just think it’s unfair of them to yell at me for their mistakes.

Honestly — don’t go there. Burgers were cold and disgusting — it was sad and pathetic. There were barely anyone there; big surprise –not! Too bad I can’t give negative stars.

Burger King doesn’t taste the same as it used to or maybe it was a bad day. I ordered a kids cheeseburger meal with fries and hash browns on the side. It was during the transition from breakfast to lunch and they told me they had both. The fries were average and the hash brown tasted old. Maybe they gave me the left over stuff from the morning. The cheeseburger was good though. I guess that’s why it’s called Burger King and not Potato King.

This is funny, I had thought I be nuts to give a fast foid joint 4 stars, other Unilocalers feel the same. Being new for a year does help, as it is spiffy, high lofts, and centre communal bar tables, that gets me off lol. Brick décor, booth seating and $ 5 King meal deals, what’s there not to like. Plus, this is the only location that gives Whopper Specials not just on Wednesday but 2 more days too. How does 2 for $ 6 sound? I always add the processed cheese :)

Came by for some fast food goodness. Parking is available on the side streets, as well as in the Highgate Mall complex. This location is unique in that it has a really nice atrium in the dining area. With that said, the location is a bit on the cramped side. I suspect this location is a franchise, as there are some deals here that aren’t at other locations. For example, 2 Whoppers can be had for $ 6 any day of the week. Service was a bit slow, but the place was quite busy. The food felt good.

Wednesday Whoppers exist here. The owner of the BK on hastings is such a bullshitter he said his location is the only one that has whopper Wednesday and all other locations have phased it out. Well poopy liar pants, the Richmond Bridgeport location and the one in Metrotown still have Whopper Wednesday! And I devoured it.

I havent been to BK for over a year but I had some coupons in the mail so i gave this new BK a try. Its new & very clean when I was there Saturday. Food was good. My wife just got tired of Whoppers as thats all we ate when we were renovating & sans kitchen. But now we re back. Definitely a good deal if you can get the coupon deals. Two can dine for $ 10 or less. Now theres 25¢ coffee which I thought tasted really delish. Some changes since I was there last were some cost cutting measures as expected. Pop was a little smaller. Drink lids were so flimsy I wasted 2 so there goes the cost savings & fries smaller. Whopper still the biggest & best tasting burger out of all the fast food places I think. They half wrapped it & now put it in a box which seems a bit more classy so it was fine dining for us last w/e. Now my wife cant say we never go to any fancy restaurant. Parking I guess would be in Highgates parking. It was very tempting to use Mcd s pkg lot but we used a street meter so not so great for pkg. Nevertheless a very reliable fast food experience.
