I went here because they were advertising all these deals on various deal sites. I did purchase a 60 minute chocolate mud wrap, 30 minute manicure and 30 minute pedicure deal. I have been trying to call and email this business for some time without any response back. I finally went in person to see if I could make an appointment this way. When I got there, there was 4 people waiting for their appointments. There was nobody at the receiption desk as I stood there for quite some time. Finally I decided to look around to see if there was someone coming as I thought maybe the receptionist went to the bathroom but this was over 10 minutes or so. Where they do the manicures open area I just politely asked if there was a receptionist, one girl said just a minute with a pissed off look. It was about another 10 minutes that this same girl came to the desk only because she was done her manicure and her client had to pay. I then tried to book an appointment with her but then some other girl just casually walks in and sits down at the chair and takes over. The same 4 people waiting for their appointments were still sitting there the entire time for over 20 minutes so they were obviously going to have late starts. I finally make my appointment and when I get my services done, what a huge disaapointment! The whole procedure was done on a massage table. The chocolate mud wrap felt like oil and was only placed on half my body. The lower half of my arms, the lower part of my legs, part of my stomach and part of my back. Then it was wrapped in saran wrap. Then the manicure and pedicure started. All I got was a file down and nail polish. No soaking in a bath, no scrubbing, no massage, no cuticle removal, no lotion. If I knew I was only going to get half(or not even half) of the treatments I would of went somewhere else as they give you full services no matter how much you paid. It is not my fault this business put deals on so the workers should feel like you didn’t pay full price, I won’t give you full price service. Besides the lack of customer service, basic services and non spa like atmosphere, this is not the place to go. Spas that I have been going to have dimmed lighting, relaxing music, professionalism from all staff. Instead I got was someone who did my treatments talk the entire time and ask very personal questions while only doing semi treatments. When I go to a spa I like to be pampered and have some quiet relaxing time, not be talked to and have to be talking to the entire time with bright rooms, lack of receptionist and the hard way to book an appointment. The only good thing about this place is it’s located in a shopping complex so there is free ample parking.

I find this place extremely frustrating to deal with. They never answer their phones(Ever!!) or emails and their customer service is definitely lacking. Shouldn’t a visit to the spa be relaxing not add more stress?! LOL. The service i got was OK… again not very good customer service and made me wait 30 minutes longer for my scheduled appointment. The eyelashes i did finally get there fell off the next day but they did rectify the situation when i went in and complained. But i will certainly never ever ever be back, and will tell people to stay away! Been there three times and will not go back, terrible experience every time.

What a scam! They recently had a group deal and now they would reply to emails or calls about booking in an appointment. If all the other reviews I’ve read about them are true then this lack of proper customer service surely proves it. I would be afraid to get any service from th now and will be asking for a refund from the vouchers I bought! Save yourselves the trouble and stay away!!!

I finally used a coupon I had for here, and can’t say I’d go back. I had scheduled over email(which they provide the option on their website) a facial and eyebrow threading. First off they were 20 minutes late for my appointment. Then they proceeded to tell me that the person that did eyebrows was in India, so I could only have half of my treatment done. That upset me since this place is across the city for me. The facial I received was ok… for the money not bad. I don’t think I’ll return for my other treatment, and try to obtain a refund for the remaining credits I have for this«spa».

Usually I’ll post reviews when a place either angers me or knocks my socks off. I post this one because I don’t believe many of the reviews for this place are accurate. Anishas is a solid«alright» place to go. I’m not affraid for my health but I also do not feel extremely pampered. My impression is a lot closer to a doctors office visit than a spa — often I feel better as a result but it’s more clinical. I’ve been here several times because of various deals but if I really wanted to pay full price and get the full indulgence of a spa trip I would choose somewhere else. Services from Anishas I’ve had: Manis: perfectly acceptable. Better than a little hole in the wall asian place. Attention to hygene is given here(a lot of places give me the creeps because of lax standards) Pedis: slightly better than the average pedi except the time I had my nails done while in a body wrap which turned out poor and was just awkward. Nice chairs otherwise. Massage: Technically correct, they try hard. I’ve had one really inappropraite therapist which ruined the whole experience. I usually prefer a «real» massage to a spa one anyway. Facial: Nothing special Body Wrap: I’ve only had wraps done at very nice spas and compared tho those experienced this is terrible. I could probably do this better at home. Laser Hair removal: I have no point of comparison on this anywhere else but it seems ok even though I am a bit disenchanted with results. I’ve had 6 sessions at the point of review(which is what they tell you you’ll likely need) Dispite being an «ideal» candidate for this having dark hair and light skin, I’ve seen very little actual results. This is an individual thing but it might also be a tech, equipment or type of laser thing. I hear other lasers might have been a better choice than the IPL. I’ve also waited up to an hour after my appointment because of tech was very slow. Another tech was so extremely rude the only reason I went back was because I had a package. The owner is really nice and fast in contrast but she doesn’t do them much anymore… I’m going to do a couple more sessions just to see what happens and then perhaps switch laser technology.

This is the second review I have written on AnishaS. They have somehow deleted any negative reviews… and there were several on this site. I’ll try again. My experience was very disappointing. I made my first appointment online and when I showed up they didn’t have any record of the appointment. A word of warning… Anishas totally overbooks themselves so it takes a long time to get an appointment if you can even get through on the phone because their mailbox is always full. Anyway, I rebooked for a few weeks later and had one of the first morning appointments. I arrived on time but waited outside with other clients while the staff showed up late and proceeded to get set up for the day. My appointment started at least 20 minutes late. The spa is tacky in décor and they share the bathroom with the gym next door(?) The mud wrap and mani/pedi was nothing short of lame. Some brown stuff spread on my body and then covered with saran wrap. The mani/pedi was done at the same time. No soaking, just a quick file, trim and polish. The massage was ok but she concentrated mainly on my legs. I also had my eyebrows threaded and tinted and when I got home I discovered that she had totally removed part of my eyebrow so I had a gap that I had to fill in with pencil. Unfortunately, I bought 2 of these«deals» and when I called for a 2nd appointment it took them almost 2 weeks to get back to me and when I mentioned this, the fellow was quite rude. By that time I had called Dealfind and demanded a refund, which I got. I wonder who all those happy clients with positive reviews really are.

I went to AnishaS to use a voucher from Dealfind. The voucher was for: a 60 minute chocolate body wrap, a 30-minute manicure, 30-minute pedicure, and a 30-minute massage. The unfortunate thing about this place is its location. It’s in a gym, and there is almost no separation between the two areas, so in the waiting room you can hear the fitness equipment and the base in the music, which is less relaxing that I would like. The spa definitely is not your traditional spa, there is no relaxing lounge to wait in, no change rooms, lockers, showers or spa tub to use. My appointment was on time. All of the treatments took place in one room, I didn’t even have to get up. She applied the chocolate body wrap(seems like chocolate pudding, and then they cover it in saran wrap). The chocolate was cold, but I have no other complaints about the treatment. While the wrap was setting, she did the manicure and pedicure. These were pretty weak, with no soaking, no cuticle cutting, and pretty lazy shaping. I’ve done better jobs at home. After that she used a warm cloth and a bucket of water to wipe off the chocolate mud. This process wasn’t exactly painful, but it wasn’t really enjoyable either. The cloth is rough and she scrubbed pretty hard to get the stuff off. Then the masage, which she did the backs of my legs and then my back. It was nice, not the best or worst massage I’ve ever had. The best part was at the end, when I was getting up to change, she had left a box of chocolates to finish off the treatment. That was a cute little surprise. Overall the experience was fine, but it’s not a very luxurious place and the manicure and pedicure were a disapointment. I probably wouldn’t go back, but I did get my money’s worth out of my Dealfind voucher.
