History
Established in 1955.
Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is one of our country’s oldest and most prestigious sport halls with a collection of over 95,000 artefacts. It was established in 1955 at Toronto’s CNE grounds by Harry Price, chairman of the Sports Committee for the CNE.
In 2011, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame moved to Alberta, opening the doors to a brand new building at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. The 40,000 square foot international award-winning facility provides an inspiring, interactive and fun experience for Canadians of all ages.
