This place has been a mainstay of the Kingsland area for ages. Having gone through a number of incarnations over the years, from a buffet place(despite the size) to a pure pizza place to pizza and donair and now a pizza, donair and vietnamese place(each representing the different owners over the years), it offers decent food at very reasonable pricing. I like stopping by here from time to time to get a slice of pizza(though I notice they stopped their policy of having a pizza ready for a slice at all times) as it was cheap, tasty and decently made. I’ve yet to try the vietnamese food, but I dared try their schwarma for fun, and it’s admittedly not bad. While the price is more or less in line, and they don’t offer the weird neon purple turnip slices like other Donair places, they do make it up in quantity and acceptable flavor. It wasn’t too authentic overall, but still, it was still a great snack over all, and I wouldn’t mind picking another up one of these days. Give ‘em a try over ordering from a chain like Pizza 73 or whatever. It’s family run(a vietnamese family now these days), they’re pleasant and eager to please and honest, and do their best to give a decent product and a good price.

22⁄30 My doctor used to be in the clinic next door, so I used to stop here after a visit to quell my hunger pangs. Pretty decent, although sometimes it gets really dirty in here, especially since across the street is a High School. The falafel here is tasty, and my friends think the donair is really good. Better than the place a few minutes down the road that boasts both shwarma and sushi(??), at least. And they’re liberal with the sriracha, which I appreciate. Stop by here, after picking up some bread at Cob’s!
