History

Established in 2013.

In the fall of 2012 Nikki and Lisa met at Yoga Passage during their yoga teacher training. With Nikki’s green smoothies and Lisa’s concoctions they were destined to be Superfoodies — a match made in heaven. Meaghan, a Registered Holistic Nutrionist, formed the missing piece in the triad in 2012 when the three souls came together at a retreat in Hawaii. She, too, has a passion for yoga and completed her teacher training in the summer of 2012. Thus the name Yummi Yogis.

The idea of the Yummi Yogis food truck was born when Lisa chatted with a good friend, Michelle, over lunch about bridging the gap between healthy and fast food. When Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer later that year it became even more important to get the word out about nutrition for life!
