Globo Shoes

Went here today to browse a store I’ve never been to for a new pair of shoes. It doesn’t have a big a section for males than it does for female, but it does have a good selection. Sandals, boots, crocs, sneakers, etc. It has all the basic footwear. I left with a nice looking pair of shoes that were $ 20 off.
The staff was nice and seemed happy and the place was organized. That’s a big thumbs up for a place like this. I may not return here, but that isn’t because of the place itself, just not my kind of store. Only wanted something new.

My go-​to place for shoes lately. My first experience (which was really a bit of a ‘I’ve-had-an-awful-day-and-the-only-thing-that-will-make-it-better-is-shoes’ day), resulted in my most favourite and most used footwear.
A gorgeous pair of boots that any self-​respecting vegan would never wear. I’ll go on record by stating I do not respect myself. (at least not any more). The poor cow was already dead and I’m sure she’ll be pleased to know, that I love what part of her I was buying this day.
There was not a lot of selection from what I could tell but thankfully, on this day, they had just what the doctor ordered. The other good news is that if they don’t have your size in store, they will gladly order them. Being a little on the larger side of the size scale, I’ve had to use this service a couple times.
Service is hit and miss. On one occasion, one of the cashier’s personality gave me pause to think I should’ve brought a sweater with me that day. Brrr… However, every time since then, I’ve received nothing but big smiles and quick service.

Not really much in stock in the way of my personal tastes and obviously far less for men than for women, but overall a great destination to fill any variety of footwear needs. Formal, casual, and active, along with a wide range of brands and styles seem to cover just about all bases at a reasonable price point ($ 40 – 70).
Staff were friendly but not exactly helpful. Quick to offer assistance and efficient in grabbing sizes? Sure. Knowledgeable about the products they’re selling and able to make legitimate recommendations and tips? Not quite so strong. Still, I’ll give them credit for at least being friendly!

Globo shoes in the crossing is a very large location. Walking in the store is well laid out and very clean store. Greeted by some friendly young staff asking if they can help me find anything.
Walking quickly down the isles of flat and the new Gladiator shoes which seem to hit the fashion world by store and really do nothing for me at all. Continuing my journey I did see some really nice wedge sketchers for $ 59.99. And they actually had my size and it looked like more then one, great abundance of sizes.
Sales were on at Globo as I think were all the locations I just wish I could find some shoes to buy.

We were on a mission for Rain Boots, you would think, living in Nova Scotia a Shoe/​Boot store would not have Rain Boots.
Well, they don’t. Now I was not looking for the average boot. I figured they would carry some nice lines. To be honest I did not like much there, and their prices were not the greatest. Krista you must have lucked out.

The other day I went into Globo with one mission at hand, to buy a pair of stylish boots. Based on their excellent selection and reasonable prices, I figured my mission would be fool-​proof. I was lucky because I went there straight from work, around 4:30 on a weekday, and the store wasn’t very busy.
I quickly began piling up boxes of boots for me to try on. After I had gathered about 5 boxes, I found it strange that nobody had come yet to offer their help. As I continued to try them on I discovered the perfect pair of boots, but once again, nobody was around to help. I could see the workers gathered in an area, talking about their social lives, and was quite disappointed with the lack of customer service. Finally the girls walked over my way and I was offered assistance. I ended up buying the boots, and thus far am very happy with them, and will shop there again, but based only on their selection and prices — and not on their customer service.
