The Vision Gallery

I booked my daughters for their first eye exams here. I admit I am little behind in getting the 4 year old to get her vision tested but in my defence, her paediatrician never made it seem that important.
Anyway, the front desk staff are pleasant to deal with on the phone and in person. There are lots of chairs, books and some toys in the waiting area and some single cup coffee.
The tech who took the initial measurements were wonderful with my girls (2 and 4 years old). The little one took a little longer because her attention span is much shorter but no problem, the tech was very patient and nice to my daughter.
Dr. Dien is kind, patient and great with kids. My kids were not scared of her kind demeanour and she didn’t rush them during the exam.
Her equipment is new, clean and engaging for kids. She used shapes, letters and numbers, and a video with the girls during the exam and was constantly talking to them to keep them focused. I really loved the way she interacted with the girls.
Sadly I have to take my daughter back for more testing but I like his clinic so much that I don’t even mind.
My only minor complaint was that there is a sign on the door to remove wet and muddy footwear, however the floor was actually quite dirty so socks would be filthy after walking around. It was a dry day today so we kept our shoes on. If the clinic would kindly clean their floors before requesting patients remove shoes.
