I love this place. The service and staff there are enough to bring me back. They are so knowledgeable and they have a great selection. They make you feel at home and they find you what you need. I also like their special offers and promotions when u sign up for their mailing list. Will be going there more frequently!

While Vine’s may not be the cheapest place in Edmonton to buy wine, there’s not a lot of place like this left… Vine’s is a place you go when you want a great suggestion on a bottle of wine and will never be lead astray … It’s a place you go when you could pretty much do no wrong by picking up any bottle in the store… It’s a place you go where you know the staff just know what they’re talking about and are extremely passionate about what they do …
Just support these guys… I realize there are bigger and cheaper stores in the area, but, you’ll find in those other stores isles and isles of terrible wine and staff that don’t have the slightest clue what they are selling …
Support Vines. They truly are one of a kind and I’m so happy they are down the street from my house. I’ll happily pay a small premium for the knowledgeable staff and great (not large and useless) wine & beer selection.

Wonderful place! Stephen and the staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. The wine knowledge in the store is amazing and the scotch wall is mouth watering! The people there can help you find anything you are looking for. They will pay attention to what you like and help you find what will work best for you. They are community minded and considerate of their community. They even carry a fundraising wine every year.

I don’t drink wine, but I do cook with it. Normally, a trip to my local booze factory is enough to suffice, but every now and then, I discover the need to branch out a little.
Such was the case that led me to Vines. I needed a specific type of wine for a culinary experiment, and since Vines came highly recommended, I decided to check it out. The staff were extremely helpful, and assisted me in locating the wine-​I-​had-​never-​heard-​of.
The dish I was cooking turned out great, too.;)

Easily my favorite liquor store in the city. I am certainly not a wine-​buff but the staff at Vines are always able to make a great suggestion for me. It seems Vines has a reputation for being a high-​priced, «fancy-​shmancy» wine shop but I have found that they have great options for all price ranges.
What really impressed me is their craft beer and fine liquor selection. I’ve previously bought red wines, white wines, champagnes/​sparkling, beer, vodka and rum from them in the past and have not only been able to find delicious alternatives to the «usual» makers, but also the rare or uncommon crafts. It is refreshing to see a private liquor store dealing with these rare liquors and NOT calling themselves Sherbrooke Liquor. They are conveniently located on the south side, which is very convenient for me personally. I would say they are worth a little journey to visit them any day.
The staff are all very friendly, and sometimes they have the owners dog in the store to greet customers. Rather than being a cold, uppity establishment Vines has a very family-​owned feel, which is very nice for those of us who walk in and have no idea what we are talking about.
