On Good Friday, we headed to Widynowski’s Sausage House, 4204 118 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5W 1A4. We wanted to get some Easter sausage and cabbage rolls. The service in this tiny little shop is friendly and fast. Eagerly offering samples of various products makes is a pleasure to choose. We bought a bag of sweet cabbage rolls, one of sour cabbage rolls, several rings of ham sausage, one of ham& garlic, a bunch of snack size sausages, one with jalapeño (for me), to enjoy in the car. We are a little fussy about Ukrainian style foods as we make our own, but I’ve gotta tell ya! Do yourself a favour and run on down to Widynowski’s. Everything was delightful. What a treat! All natural products that can’t be beat.

Last visit while I grabbed my sausages, I was sadly informed that they had just sold the last of their gluten free perogies and weren’t sure when there would be more as the flour blend they had been using was discontinued. Noooooooooooo!!!
I’ll keep checking back. Who can stay away from that garlic ham coil?!!
