Jim’s No Frills

this location is a lot better then most locations, boasting some very unique items that you don’t find in a «normal» no frills, sometimes I go to this location just to see if they have any new or cool items. the fruit and veggies seem to be a lot fresher at this location as well, not sure if there is a reason for this. the only negative that I can find with this location is that the parking situation is sparse without a bit of walking, and everyone seems to think its like nascar, whipping in and out at very high speeds.
aside from that negative, its a very good location.

There is something about No Frills in Etobicoke that leaves me scratching my head. For a second time this week, I decided to stop into a No Frills before heading back downtown. I’d say this location is better than the Queensway location, but still worse than any of the No Frills locations I’d compare to visiting in downtown Toronto (even the Cabbagetown location is better, and it’s pretty terrible).
This location is at least spacious, so you won’t feel as cramped when shopping as you do at other locations, and there is ample parking… But the good impressions ended there. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by shopping at No Frills locations that have fresh meat counters and in house butchers, but finding a good piece of meat in this end of the city seems like way too much of a challenge. This location did have better selection than the Queensway and I found a couple things to tie me over, but still left me underwhelmed and planning for a regular shop this weekend at my local.
Experienced better? That I have, so 2 stars for this location as well.

I hate to say this but this is one of the WORST No Frills in the area. I don’t even bother going there anymore, even if it’s to pick up one item. First of all, you’d risk being hit in the parking lot, they rarely have any items listed in the circulars, shelves are not stocked properly and, in my opinion, a few of the cashiers are pretty miserable.
