Chapters

This chapters is a little smaller than some of the others that I have visited in the past and can get pretty packed during the weekends – Scratch that, ALL chapters can get pretty packed during the weekend!
I like to call this chapters, the cozy chapters. There was not much space to navigate around, at least when I went there last, and they really do try to cram a lot in the space, from new arrival books, to monthly picks and discounted items, to my favorite part of chapters; their home décor and style items. Sometimes you can snag a pretty good deal on home décor items, which is so great, otherwise it can cost a pretty penny!
The one plus about this Chapters is their Starbucks. It is nicely laid out, with lots of tables. I cannot recall seeing any comfy chairs at this location, but I am sure there are some. Every Starbucks has to have comfy chairs!
Service is good at this location. There are plenty of staff on hand handing out baskets so that you do not have to carry your purchases. I do not find the staff to be as aggressive as other chapters, (it seems like they are really pushing the sales tactics lately, and sometimes I just want to browse in peace).
Will be back for date night and Starbucks!

I really like this Chapters locations for various reasons: 1, it’s located right by Silver City Theatre which makes it a great date spot for before or after the movies at their little Starbucks area, which is large and nicely laid out. I always really like the staff there!
I love Ashley G’s point about this bring the «cozy chapters» — it’s a bit smaller than say, the Pinecrest location. I kind of like this because I could wander around books for hours, and this keeps me from staying for hours. They have a good gift selection (I find they have a really good «new infant» section) and I really like the magazine section.
I always find the customer service here a bit above par, which is nice. People are always popping out of the woodwork to ask if you need help. A great place to have a good coffee, a gift or find your next favourite book.

The SilverCity Chapters! Often a hangout before and after movies, this location is a good size and houses a Starbucks.
The book selection is pretty good and they have plenty of gift ideas for everyone which includes blankets, candles, stuff toys, journals, gadgets and of course book.
Chapters recently added a «men section» to most of its store. At this store it is located in the back centre aisle.
There is always a customer service representative around to help you if you should need help or know about their current promotion.
Once you are done with your shopping make sure to ask about the Plum Rewards which is a free membership that gives you points. You can redeem those points for money off your future purchases. If you buy a lot of books they stack up pretty fast.
