Milestones Restaurants

We ordered a beer and Bellini which was delicious as well as the calamari which was pretty good. It didn’t have a ton of flavour but it was pretty good. Our salads were really good and very fresh. We ordered the white chocolate cheesecake to finish off our order and it was absolutely delicious! Overall a great night out.

Me and my boyfriend came here before a movie and were seated immediately but ignored for 30 minutes while we knew what we wanted, our waiter took our order and our food arrived 45 minutes later… we had only ordered the flat bread with goat cheese.
The venue is very modern and clean but very uncomfortable to be in as we were seated near other couples and could hear what they were saying and the waiter looked at us as if we were just another teenage couple. All in all would not go here again. Small portions for mediocre food and decent staff was not worth the 45 $ spent on bread and lettuce.

Went with another couple and had the date night special. Food was good, drink menu was underwhelming and the service was basic. There were about five other couples in the restaurant for dinner around 5pm, they sat everyone right beside each other in the back corner while the rest of the restaurant was empty and dead silent. I think this maDe everyone hyper aware of each other, (or that’s how we felt) and we could hear anything and everything the other diners were saying to each other causing us to whisper the whole dinner. We asked to be reseated and they looked at us like we didn’t have a good enough reason to move, so we felt uncomfortable enough to just stay. There were two waitresses and my best guess is they were trying to lump everyone together so that they could have less area to cover due to lack of staffing. I think 5pm is just before their dinner ‘Rush’ so they seemed less interested in us as a result of trying to get ready for the bulk of their customers later. We were also right in front of the kitchen which was annoying due to occasional loud clanging noises, not to mention, distracting because we heard everything they had to say too. On a bright note, everyone did enjoy the food, orders were right and the restaurant was very clean. I probably won’t go back, not because of this experience alone but, it was pricey for what we received and nothing on their menu was exceptional. Many other restaurants have similar options with better prices and I am going to stick to the places I have had consistently better experiences at.

I went on Valentine’s Day to this location, and surprisingly it was great service !!! Our waitress was so kind and extremely attentive .
I cannot say much about the menu– as it was a pre set menu. I ordered garden salad, steak and mash, and we had the different desserts they offered that night .
I’m extremely pleased with the service we received :).

Meh! The menu doesn’t offer a lot of choices and the ones they do offer don’t offer much. Overpriced, wait staff was very nice and friendly. We decided just to order an appetizer which was a flat bread, was really good but took quite a while to come out considering what it was. Would I be back? Probably not. Apparently they just changed their entire menu, not for the better in my opinion.

We normally love Milestone’s in general and this location as well. However, tonight’s visit was not up to par. Food was good. Ambience was good. However, the server did not seem engaged with serving. There seems to be a new feature — dinner and a movie — which gives the patron a cineplex movie voucher. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you more as the server did not draw our attention to this and we decided not to burden the server with trying to explain the program when we discovered it when we received the bill. One other point — we were not sure what to do with our winter coats. We were in a 2– person booth, but with no observable coat hooks we had to cuddle– up with the coats. Not a big deal, just odd. We’ll be back and hopefully with the server up to the normal Milestone’s standard.

So I gotta admit, the feel of this place is «get in, eat, and get out». The food is good, a bit pricing but what do you really expect from a restaurant that’s «trying» to be something others have already perfected. The staff are «ok to «nice» expect one D-​bagget that acted liked like the idea of someone wanting food and drink in a reasonable time frame was just simply crazy. Yeah — tip accordingly here folks, the message will be loud and clear for those under achievers.
All and all, a good place to grab a few pints and some apps after a movie. Aside from that… go to the Keg!

Not a fan of the décor of this one at all. Seems cold and uninviting. Too much of an open concept for me. On the upside, the patio is gorgeous.

3 stars at least for the great service, friendly staff and the nice ambience. the food however gets no stars! Had the steak and it was horrible! Mostly fat and very little meat. felt like I got taken cause the prices imply that the food should be far better!

Until today, I had never actually eaten at Milestones, thinking it would have the same menu yet be a bit more expensive than other other Cara Operations Limited restaurants (ex. Harvey’s, Montana’s, Kelsey’s, Swiss Chalet, etc.). However, I was wrong.
The Milestones in the Heritage Greene plaza is a cozy, welcoming environment filled with knowledgeable staff. The restaurant is filled with neutral colours and the wood-​like interior makes you want to eat, chat and have a good time. Meanwhile the staff actually assist you when choosing your meal, and do not force or rush you into making decisions. Also, our waiter actually told us to use our ‘Scene’ card in order to obtain points for a free movie, or to get a discount on our next meal at Milestones.
The food at the restaurant is amazing. I had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken, while my parents (which whom I dined with) had the Cajun Shrimp Diane and Seafood Pan Roast. Each of the dinner entrees were delicious, made to our liking and had a generous portion size.
The only negative I had with this location was the parking. There is no parking near the Milestones when the Silvercity Hamilton Movie Theatre is open. I swear the parking near Milestones gets overtaken by movie watchers, and forced us to park near the Shoe Company in the same plaza.
Overall, I liked this Milestones outlet, and will be returning, next time trying a drink or two!
