Montana’s BBQ & Bar

I dine at Montana’s at least 3 times a week. My order hasn’t been changed since but tonight I had a different taste on the menu. I went with the brisket sandwich and it is by far the best I’ve had. You can taste the smokey meat just melting in you’re mouth. For starters I had the steak bites, not bad but different would have them again.

We wanted a quick lunch and happened to drive past this Montana’s. Are we glad we stopped! We enjoyed another great veggie burger. Mmmmmm, the smoked apple butter really makes a burger stand out.
Instead of fries, I had a house salad with dressing on the side. It was okay — nothing to write home about, but just your standard lettuce, tomato and a bit of onion.
The service was fast and attentive, and our meal was quite tasty. Very enjoyable!

Always busy but with great staff who are always friendly! The food is great and comes to a reasonable price for the portions and quality of food! I recommend their anijitos and nachos, my favourite every time I visit! Although the waitress/​waiter isn’t always there to serve me after introductions, the food is still on the table and for most people that’s all that matters.
Great atmosphere for a casual date or night out with the family or a small get together with friends. I definitely recommend montanas, just be sure to make reservations near dinner time as they tend to have 25 – 30 minute wait times to be seated.

First time to a Montana’s in years. Same cottage feel same deep fried goodness appetizers. Service was good. Sangria was good would recommend for a stop before or after a movie.

Oh Montana’s!
Located in the East Hamilton Heritage Greene Plaza, this Montana’s is practically in the backyard of its Cara Operations Limited sibling restaurants (Kelsey’s and Milestones). However, unlike the other two… it has parking!
Since the restaurant just opened, it’s still very clean, organized and smells like cedar. At the same time, staff are attentive, and try their best to serve you in a timely manner. However, the actual meal service is a disaster.
After ordering, we had to wait a half hour to get our food because they kept overcooking our steaks. At the same time, my guests and I got food we never ordered. For instance, I asked for regular fries, and got sweet potato french fries, one of my guests ordered corn and got coleslaw, and my brother ordered a fajita, and never got his meat till we asked after ten minutes of additional waiting. Though, the wait was worth it and our meal was delicious.
Would I recommend coming here? For sure! Despite the chaos when getting our meals, the staff were trying their best, consistently checked in with us, and overall, showed that they cared. Also, I rather wait for a steak that is done to my liking, instead of getting a steak that is dry and overcooked.
Additionally, unlike the Kelsey’s next door, the environment was also very clean!
