Came back here and ordered the jap chae again. It wasn’t as tasty. Vegetables tasted like they were going bad. Didn’t compare to the first time I went. Will try again.

After living in Seoul, I have only come across a handful of authentic Korean restaurants. Serving your typical dishes and sides, this is the real deal. They are one of the few that serve Mokolee!

My favourite go to place. Authentic Korean cuisine, huge variety, mild to spicy, big portions, comes with steamed rice and cold side dishes of kimchi, cucumbers, potatoes in sweet tangy sauce. Very satisfying and what is best: easy on the pocketbook.
Why not 5 stars? Décor is a dull and the Korean music videos can be a bit annoying, but survivable.

this is the best goddamned place for korean food in town by a mile. i used to live in seoul and this is the only place that tastes authentic. i really really really recommend the samgyeopsal kimchi bokeum — its a pork belly bbq dinner for two that you grill on your table in front of you. make sure to ask for samjeon to dip the pork belly in once its cooked.

Good korean food in town. Good service. Good portion. I like the kim chi and other side dished. Omg they do delivery too. Sell kim chi to take home. Ill love to come back here again.

The Famous Owl of Minerva (aka the Owl of Minerva) has opened a branch in Hamilton. All the Korean «hits» are here (bibimbap, pork bone soup, bulgogi, chapjae, etc.). Nice thing about this place is there’s parking and plenty of street parking out in front. Service is wonderful. They are not terrified of whitey and seem to be really gunning to build a broad customer base. This isn’t one of the 24 hour establishments but they’re open to 1 am. And I was delighted to find they have Hite beer on the menu. Been to a few places in North York that claimed it was on the menu but they never had it in stock. Korean beer is nothing to write home about. But if you’ve lived in Korea, it’s one of those tastes you kind of develop and then miss.
