Established in 1958.
It all started with a passion for dog training, retriever training to be exact. That’s how we got our name. In 1958 John Sellen was selling and producing The Canvasback Dummy, a canvas bumper filled with cork used to train retrievers and sold all over the world. After numerous requests, he started bringing in truck loads of dog food for his customers. Today the business still continues to grow and adapt with the same focus on listening to what the customers want.
