Finally something they got right but they wasted money in the process so I can’t give this location 5 stars. Sorry guys and gals. Like a fast food lemming I kept coming back hoping and waiting for that big breakfast that didn’t have dried out eggs or portions too small and hash browns that were burnt. This had to be one of the worst McDonald’s in BC. Today I ordered the usual and got a big breakfast that was done according to how the Mc’ds university book says! What happened? Did they finally realize the crap they served before? That it wasn’t up to par? I got a decent sized scrambled egg not burnt not dried out not tough. The sausage looked like it was cooked fresh and the English muffin not black!!! 5 stars worth! But they gave me too many Jams 3 of them. And I got peanut butter which is what I wanted. Didn’t need jam. Bad thing is this location charged me for mustard sauce. The same lady didn’t charge me last week and most other locations don’t charge. Especially if I don’t need peanut butter or jam. So I make this 4 stars.

This location needs an upgrade physically, especially considering the traffic. I have been here twice on the way to the ship yards to get some coffee(yes I actually like their coffee). Line up was long and they were a little slower than normal but I got my coffee. Sadly I realize that they screwed up my order, however, was already on the bus to my destination and it was too late. It was under $ 2.

This location is OK, but they really need to do something with the ginormous indoor playground. For as many times as I ever see families with small kids in there, I think the space could be better used for more standard restaurant seating. The food is pretty much standard McDonald’s fare. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Can’t say how the WiFi is, as I’ve never used it. Probably the best thing going here is the location to London Drugs, Sav On Foods, and the rest of Ironwood Mall. But just getting to this strip mall can be difficult during rush hour — 5 Rd & Steveston Hwy can be a nightmare then.

I was surprised that they’re running efficiently today. Line ups, almost none. Food was fast and quick. Service, surprisingly, friendly! It’s so out of the ordinary! A round of applause to today’s service. Keep it up! 30 Day Unilocal Challenge(12⁄30)

Another McDonald’s. Just like the rest — never been inside, just the good ol’ socially awkward safe drive-thru… Nothing much to say other than, the Value Menu is great because the Mcdouble is the same as a Cheeseburger but instead it has two patties and its cheaper at $ 1.39 versus the $ 1.89 cheeseburger. I can’t resist the 2 Apple Pies for $ 1.39 either. And if I decide to buy fries, I always say no salt because One) it’s healthier(can I say healthier and McDonald’s together?) and Two) you get fresh fries made(usually)! Overall, typical McDonald’s in a convenient place on Steveston Hwy just before you enter the traffic vortex of the Massey Tunnel.

Canada’s Chicken McNuggets were the exact ones we had as kids. They were a brown color and gray inside and so moist, not the white meat, yellowish dry ones we have in the US. Loved the texture of them too. I’d always call dibs on the boot shaped ones. I wonder if they have the old school fried apple pies too…
