Well, this is my very first comment on Unilocal.I went to this location today. Everything was usual at the beginning, after I picked the frame, my salesman(Liz) says I need to wait for empty table to get things done. Stand there for 10mins for the free station, sit at the station for another 15 mins(with no one come to assist). Okay I’m patiently enough till Liz come to access my profile said“ok I will find someone to help you” then she left. me and my boyfriend wait there for 20 mins with no one come. Staff pass by me act they are blind until I turn around saw my dear salesman Liz sit at the station behind me helping a man come later than me to make purchase. I am so pissed never return to this location and will help advertise this great customer experience to friends:)

All the associates in this store are extremely friendly. Worth to be mentioned is Mr. Takis. He helped me a lot. He is very patient and professional in giving me suggestions about the pattern of optical frame and sunglasses.

I made my final purchase there. Never going back. They’ve p***** me off twice(I was prepared to dismiss issues the first time). Customer service is not their strength. They have one Optician who is knowledgeable and professional and that’s where it ends for me.

I was quite pleased of my service when I went in a few weeks ago. I was looking for new glasses for that new school term. Something different but not too different. My sales woman was young and even wore glasses– which is what you need in a eyewear store! She was friendly and even had me try on some different styles! She was super patient and she didnt have that annoyed look when I couldn’t decide between two. I ended up getting glasses that were similar to what I wanted. I bought them right then and there and even received 30% off my lenses and frames. Pretty good for a student! Now my only complaint is when my glasses did come in there was a scratch on them and the guy who called me the second time around was extremely rude! It has made me kinda regret my choice not to mention I have to wait yet again for my glasses while still struggling to see the board at school… Not impressed at all! Update: Jay saved me experience– See him with any questions he is awesome!

The mood of a salesperson can sometimes make or break your day. If they’re pissy, it can get you fired up – and not in a good way. But if they’re pleasant, they can have you smiling out the door. That was me smiling out the doors of Lenscrafters on Saturday. I had bought a pair of glasses from them 3 years ago and figured I would take advantage of my insurance and buy another. I walked in and was greeted by a young guy wearing glasses and dressed impeccably. Now, when I’m shopping for glasses, I like to pick people wearing glasses. I feel more of a kinship with them, like they’ll understand what I’m looking for. He definitely did. I asked him to find me a purple pair of glasses but not too purple. He smiled, walked over to a rack, did a bit of searching as he mumbled«I know I saw them» and BAM! Picked up exactly what I wanted. Subtle purple frames with a bit of bling. He had me try them on to see how they felt. I grinned as I knew I was not walking out without those frames. We got down to the fitting. They are very thorough at Lenscrafters. An optician came over and double-checked all his measurements to make sure they were right. All the while, my sales guy and I chatted about fashion and how much finding glasses that you love can help you feel as good as clothes that you love. We walked over to the cash and he proceeded to add everything up. I’m not very savvy with insurance stuff and probably asked him a lot of silly questions but he was patient and helpful. He gave me a discount when I didn’t know it was offered and printed off extra copies of my receipt for me to send to the insurance. He was also big on manners. Sales Guy: So they should be ready in an hour. Tom(other sales guy): You got them in an hour. What are you going to do in an hour? Me: I’m not sure. Tom: You should walk around the mall. Me: Nah, probably won’t. Tom: Why not? What else would you do? Me: Probably go home. Tom: Go home? Where do you live? Sales Guy: Uh, Tom. Stop quizzing her. Tom:(chuckle.) Okay.(Tom walks off.) Sales Guy: I’m so sorry about that. Some men forget what it is to be a gentleman. I started giggling. I’ve never had any young guy get upset because another wasn’t being a gentleman. The whole experience was hilarious enough that I was still smiling after I left. When I got back in an hour, my glasses were ready to go. They let me know that if there were any problems, to come back and they would fix it within 30 days. Not to mention that for any glasses you buy from them, they will clean and adjust them for you as many times for as long as you own the glasses. Now subtle purple frames don’t come cheap. Without the discount and with my prescription, they would’ve been $ 700; even with the Lenscrafters’ discount, it was $ 490, which my dad claims he could’ve bought 2 pairs for that amount. If I were non-insurance Nikki and wanted a new pair, Lenscrafters might not be my first choice. But since the insurance pays, I’ll go where I can get a good selection, great and funny customer service and excellent quality. The fact that I still have glasses I bought from them in 2007 and have dropped and sat on tons of times, speaks for itself. For my eyes and I, they’re worth the money. I wish I could remember my sales guy’s name. I might go back this Saturday to get my old pair cleaned and adjusted so if he’s working, I’ll update my review.
