Brian Jessel BMW

Brian Jessel’s service is so bad that I would stay away from purchasing bmw all together. People might say go to autowest in Richmond but I heard they are pretty similar.
Couple years ago took my car to Brian Jessel for 100k service. I asked around how much it might cost. Service advisor said starts around $ 1,500 and up. I asked what’s things are changed in a 100k service. He coldly said «go look at your owners manual». Now that’s great service for you at Brian Jessel. Suck it.

Worst BMW dealership in Vancouver! It’s amazing how they rip off customers and get away with it, and the Vancouver Sales authority or VSA is a joke! They only go after no name dealerships white franchise dealer like Brian Jessel take full advantage of ripping off people under the BMW flag. What a shame. If you must buy a BMW stay away from these guys!

I was going to purchase my third car from BJ BMW this summer. Sadly the sales experience and horrific experience on the lease return will send me elsewhere and most likely to another brand. Shame as BMW as a product is good. Make sure you do not believe what the sales people tell you about how the process of the lease return works — I was dinged for several days of «late return charges» even though I surrendered my vehicle on its return date — excuse given «we are at the mercy of BMW Financial inspectors and we cannot control when they inspect your car». This is not the case with other lease returns elsewhere. Pure incompetence.

EXTREME CAUTION! I went in regarding a car here and they claimed the price online was incorrect. This ended up being a tactic to try and get me to buy the car thinking it was an error to have it priced it so low. They used extremely high pressure sales tactics and intimidation to try and sell me into the car. ALL COMING FROM THE MANAGER. He should absolutely be fired for this kind of behaviour. I’m absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated by this business. I will never purchase from Brian Jessel. Do yourself a favour and skip this place.

Thanks for not helping a stranded BMW owner who has used your facility many times. My 330ci 2004 soft top stop while closing a nd froze six inches from closing. Your service people just said don’t know what it is or how to fix it without brining it in Guess they don’t need to help me. Thankfully Nixon Automotive didn’t mind sharing that there is a manual crank in the back in case this happens Thank you Ryan I will now be bringing this BMW and all my future ones to your certified quallified friendly mechanics. Brian Jessell didint care to help and that’s probably a good thing. Fixed my issue with the beamer and was able to drive home for free. Going to get the full issue dealt with at NIXON AUTOMOTIVE.

Perhaps the worst car shopping experience of my life. The sales staff didn’t give me second look. When I finally got someone to help me I was low balled on my trade and told their price was firm. Take it or leave it I was told. I ended up getting a way better deal at Langley BMW and will never walk into Jessel again. A bunch of arrogant jerks.

I have been driving BMW over decades and never have complaint! However, I found the service dept was totally running out of control and awful lately.
Long story in short, I got my service appointment on Thur morning due to right front light burnt out, it didn’t get fix due to parts run out. I took back my car on the same day and reschedule it a week after. The right front light fixed but the left front light burnt out few days after.
No kidding! I have better things to do rather taking my car in for service. It got fixed 2 weeks later, however, I found a lot of marks on my car. I emailed to service dept manger about it, he just asked me to bring back the car for cleanup.
No, thank you. I don’t think this is necessary to visit the shop 3 times in a month.

Rude and condescending.
I called to get my car serviced there. The woman at the service desk rudely informed me that they do not service my make of car there, as if I should have known that. Apparently, upon further personal research, I found that there are TWO Brian Jessel BMW stores within a couple blocks of each other. A point which may have been told to me politely, rather than speaking to me as if I’m stupid, as I’m sure this is a common occurrence given the extremely close proximity of two auto stores with almost EXACTLY the same name. And especially if they are owned by the same company and hoping to perhaps get my business at some point. Not only will I never purchase a car there, but I also won’t ever take my car for service at the other branch of the same company.

I give the service department at Brian Jessel top marks for one thing only: consistency. Consistently poor service!
The service department consistently delivers sub-​standard service, complete with arrogance. Their service staff, both on the phone and in person, seem not to care at all about their customer’s needs. They are not responsive, not timely, and are completely arrogant in the process.
It is difficult to book an appointment, and even if you do book, they wrongly assume that you will have nothing better to do than sit for hours in their waiting room. Every single time I come in for a service, I am left to wait for a «service advisor» (what is the point of booking an appointment?), and then have to listen to them waste my time.
The service department at Brian Jessel fails to recognize that the customer, quite simply, is the most important component of customer service.

If you want to feel violated go to Brian Jessel for your auto needs. Their auto shop is comparable to a chop shop and these guys have no consideration of their customers’ time or money.
It took these guys multiple trips over several months and many thousands of dollars to resolve an issue that was supposedly fixed the first time. And every time we were told the car was ready for pick up it was NOT and they couldn’t even be bothered to give us a heads up. The only thing they’re experts at is taking advantage of people.

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I would never buy a BMW from Brian Jessel. They are a very busy location and obviously don’t care about keeping their customers happy. Dealt with many employees at this location and they didn’t care to really address our needs.

It would be 0 stars but that is not possible. I had an appointment to pick up a vehicle for a long term test drive and they FORGOT about my appointment. I drove all they there for nothing.
They were very apologetic and rescheduled for the next day. They called me the day of the test drive to confirm.
When I arrived at the dealership they had forgotten AGAIN.
I left very frustrated. I would not buy ANYTHING at this dealership.

I had been to most of the BMW dealerships, before I ended up with to Brian Jessel to buy a beamer, I must say the service was great. I dealt with April Ru. She was super knowledgeable and was very helpful. She was also very patient. She really fought with her superiors to get me a good deal. I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised. If you go to Brain Jessel, ask for April.

Awful experience! No-​show up, no apology!
We made an appointment to test drive a car, the person who set the appointment with us was not there! The receptionist said oh, he had to go some where, I will assign someone else to take care of you, please wait in the lobby. AFTER 20MIN, I told her we are in a hurry, she said sure, I’ll let them know, after 10min the second guy showed up and asked excuse me, give me 5 more min. He didn’t show up after 15min, when we left.
Hey Brain Jessel, you ow us a lot (45min wait +2×30min travel time) and the frustration you made! The worst part is the guy never emailed or called/​texted to say he is sorry for wasting our time! UNBELIEVABLE!

I requested a test drive for the i3, and when i got there, they said the test drive car is gone for an over-​night test-​drive. he didn’t know much about the car, (i3 being the future and stuff) and the whole experience was really bad. the place is clean and nice, but the people and their knowledge… not so much.

«Respect. Trust… these must be earned… is the sum total… Brian Jessel set out to earn that trust» — no really? It must be earned?
«Experience. It is the sum total of everything that happens in life…» — who talks like that?

This News1130 radio ad is so annoying that I don’t even want to step into the door of this place. I turn off my radio every time it’s on now. If this place was all that it says it is, the reviews on here should reflect it.

One time I bought a van fr another dealer b/​c salesman was such a nice guy. I still have an older model & it still serving me well. I do like to drive a bmw but 3 salesmen at bjs wouldnt give me the time of day. A fourth thought he had the sale in the bag but when I came to p/​u the suv a week later again I waited. 1 hr later I walked. The bmw store got my business & my referals after that last straw. Puppy mill of bmw sales is right. Service & customer satisfaction thats foreign to bj salesmen

Terrible terrible service. Walked in, no one even acknowledged my presence and carried on with their day. I was looking to lease a few company cars, wandered around looking and got no attention. Well too bad guys, you lost a lot of business, and earned yet another bad review. Even walked past a maybe repairs or service guy and asked where the washrooms were, just received a shrug and walked away. Baffled.

I know from experience that car dealerships and repair shops can be sources of frustration. I also know there are honest dealerships and repair shops where folks work hard to make customer experiences positive ones.
I have always had premium experiences at Brian Jessel. From sales to service the personnel at Brian Jessel have been oriented to my needs and always come through.
I’m not saying that Brian Jessel is perfect all the time for everyone, but in my experience they are as good as it gets.

The service at Brian Jessel is absolutely appalling especially if you do not have the original factory BMW warranty and shelling out your own money for repairs or using an extended warranty that has a deductible.
Basically what happened to me was I took my car in for service as the «service engine» light came on which caused a sudden power loss and violent shaking to the car and was very dangerous as it occurred on the highway. So, I took my car in and they diagnosed the problem as the fuel injectors and replaced them under my extended warranty plan and charged me the $ 300 deductible.
After driving for 2 days around town, I get back on the highway again and throttle up, lo and behold, I get the exact same problem again with the «service engine» light coming up and a sudden power loss with violent stuttering. Good thing it was at night and there were no cars behind me or I might have gotten into an accident.
I take the car back into Brian Jessel again, they make me wait 4 days before even checking the problem because apparently the service tech that originally was working on my car had another engine job to finish. I don’t see why they couldn’t have gotten someone else to take a look at it. After checking the problem, they tell me the ignition coils and spark plugs now need to be replaced and that I will need to pay the $ 300 deductible all over again.
They were very adamant that a completely different part failed in my car within only 2 days of getting my car back which caused the exact same symptoms as before. They didn’t do any due diligence in checking other parts of the car while they had it the first time and completely missed the ignition coils and spark plugs. They basically do not take any responsibility and now I’m out $ 300 and still have the same problem as before. They’ve added no value to me as a customer and I will happily be taking my business somewhere else along with the friend’s I’ve told about this incident.
It’s no wonder all of the other service related reviews on here are 1 star.
