Ok… many many visits in… Quality is the same, but the treatment as a regular customer just gets better and better. Sometimes I get to taste test new recipes of the baked goods, and always get a friendly smile and banter from the owners… Great lunch place.

Great service. Seriously cute ma & pa type place. With the nicest, sweetest, friendliest and most inviting couple who own it. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing and waaaay healthier than a mcdonalds or tim hortons one. Let’s talk sandwiches. Tuna melt? Yes. Turkey club? Big yes. The sandwhiches are on baguette. I have never had a bad sandwhich from here. Soo I say its a big win. Would I ever order a soy latte whatever? Nooope it’s obviously not that type of café. It DOES, HOWEVER have very good organic fair trade drip coffee that I get often. Plus the cups have giraffes on them which is always fun. The best part though is the shortbread cookies. The sweet lil mama in there HANDMAKESTHEMFROMSCRATCH in house… in case there was any misunderstanding about that. They are delish.

I’ve been here a few times on the weekend here and there, however, the downside is that they close most nights at 5:30 –ish which means that before shows I have to get my coffee from Blenz. I like to support my mom and pop shops, however, they make it difficult for me to do so. I feel that they’re missing out on a lot of business near Rogers Arena closing too soon. The selection in pastry is slim but the customer service is okay.

Great hot chocolate! And a great selection of San Pelligrino :) Wish I’d had time to try more!

This place is great if you just need to stop in and grab a sandwich. However, there’s nothing special about it. I could probably make a better sandwich at home. It will get the job done and feed you, but there isn’t anything special about this place worth going out of your way for.

one of the best breakfast sandwiches i have ever had in my life. even better than tim hortons(and that’s saying something because i looove timmy’s breakfast sandwiches). there are two types, and i love them both. one comes on a bagel with egg, cheese, and just the biggest, juiciest pieces of bacon i have ever seen and it is scrumptious. love how generous they are with the bacon that they put on it. the other one comes on a croissant with cheese, egg, and ham, and is also quite good in its own way. great because they’re usually open early during the week, and it’s located right by my apartment. the only downside is when i came here one saturday morning and they weren’t open(so i don’t know if they aren’t open on weekends, or if they’re just not open early on weekends — it was about 9 am when i tried to go there on a saturday morning, excited to devour the best breakfast sandwich of my life).

Motreal Smoked Meat? Is that different than other smoked meat? I wouldn’t know, but that sandwich with multigrain bread(option for different style: croissant, bread or baguette) was pretty decent. The gentleman was pretty nice after ordering, before he was just kind of robotic. Empty late afternoon. Might opt for the T&T Supermarket deli next time.

I had an «Egg Mayo» baguette, which was quite yummy. I would have preferred more of the veggies(cucumber, tomato and lettuce) and less mayo, but the baguette was warmed to deliciousness. The daily special deal wasn’t that great — it was an extra $ 2.20 for a can of pop/coffee and fruit/bag of chips. I would go back again for another quick bite, or if I want to indulge in some sort of pastry.

The residents of this end of town don’t have many options besides Starbucks in Tinseltown, and unfortunately, Brothers Café & Bakery is a poor one. While the service was friendly and inviting, my soy latte took forever to make and when I took my first sip, I knew why: it was burnt! Seriously people, burnt coffee is very noticeable and is a bloody irritation when you are in need of a caffeine fix! Maybe the worst part is having to swallow your pride, chuck out the wasted beverage in the bin and head over to Starbucks! Brothers also has a fresh-made soup, sandwiches with ‘Montréal Smoked Meat’, a variety of not homemade pastries and hot and cold beverages besides coffee. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to see if the food holds up either.
