Specialties
When prohibition came into effect on January 16th, 1920 it was gastropubs like Devil’s Elbow that kept the kegs tapped and the whiskey pouring. Devil’s Elbow Ale & Smoke House Serves tender smoked meat, craft beer & whiskey in an atmosphere that’s reflective of its warehouse setting.
History
Established in 2014.
As a tied house to Howe Sound Brewing in Squamish (and taking it’s name from the popular IPA) the Devil’s Elbow Ale & Smokehouse opened in October 2014. Not everyone goes up to Squamish so we’ve brought our great craft beers into the city.
Located in Crosstown at 562 Beatty St, we’re a rustic ale house in a great room with tremendous character. Building from that character, we have a fantastic menu focused around tender smoked meats to compliment our craft beer offerings and prohibition style cocktails. We even promote other emerging craft breweries from the city.
