Julia Salemi’s Bio:
It all started at a young age for Julia, her passion for hair was there! She trained at the Aveda Institute and Academy in Toronto and now, with 8 years in the industry she is still in love with what she does. In 2009 she made her way to Vancouver and has had a huge advance in her career, becoming a Master Stylist. She has continued her training by travelling internationally to Paris, Seattle, Toronto, and all throughout BC. Julia is also a certified educator for «Hairtreats» extensions. «My favourite part of being a hair stylist is making people feel happy and confident.»
History
Established in 2012.
WorkShop Salon opened its doors in June 2012 with a team of talented Independent Professional Stylists (IPS) dedicated to providing the best hair services and client experiences in Vancouver.
Located in Crosstown, downtown Vancouver’s up and coming neighbourhood nestled between Yaletown, Gastown and Chinatown, Workshop is right next door to some of the city’s top restaurants and shops, including Café Medina and Chambar.

She trained at the Aveda Institute and Academy Canada and now, with 8 years in the industry she is more in love than ever with what she does. In 2009 she made her way to Vancouver from Toronto and has had a huge advance in her career, becoming a Master Stylist. She has continued her training by travelling extensively through Paris, Seattle, Toronto, and all throughout BC. Julia is also a HairTreats Hair Extensions Certified. «I love what I do because of the difference I make, making people happy is the best!»
