Brought our 8 year old, super fussy, maltese-poodle here for a grooming appointment and they did an excellent job! Great hair cut, cleaned out the ears, nails trimmed without cracks, and the price was reasonable. Would def return here!

Best self dog wash place iv found! I drive all the way from burnaby to bath my pooches there. Only $ 18 for self dog wash, nice organic shampoos, furminators, and the blow dryer (which is soo nessesary for my long haired dog) so nice and clean & great customer service! I will come often because of the great service, convience and awesome price! Other places charges more without the same full service. I have yet to find one better.

Still our favourite groomers in Vancity. We recently brought our rescue in for non-anesthesia teeth cleaning available through the groomers although not by them as well and were again impressed with their work.
The ladies at the dog republic really go above and beyond to make sure that your pets are happy, safe and getting the best care they can. We’ve had issues with other places in the past so really value how good these people are at their jobs!
When you’re not there to monitor what’s happening with pets it can be nerve-wracking in terms of potential treatment, we’ve been coming here for years and always leave with sparkling, happy puppies and would highly recommend it to anyone. :)

I’ve been bringing my dog here for over a year, and the staff always do a great job! She consistently looks great after every appointment, which generally takes about 2 hours.
My dog is always terrified when she goes in (understandable, as she’s an anxious dog), and calmed down by the time I pick her up.
Highly recommend the Dog Republic!

The staff was really friendly and helpful when I took the smelly version of Jaxon here. I expected them to be booked when I walked in (call well in advance since they’re fairly popular) but I was able to get in for a self wash right away. They provide everything you need to get the fresh smelling version of your favorite friend back…

They always cut my dog perfectly and make notes so they know what u like and didnt like on the dogs cut for next time. The staff are super friendly and nice and its incredibly clean inside. My little Polar dog is never without a big smile… or underbite smile when he leaves. they even cut a little bandana each time matching his collar, cutest thing ever!!! go there!

I’ve been here a few times now and it just keeps getting better!
The staff a upbeat & fabulous to deal with… all though I opt to wash our little hairy girl (Jezabelle) myself, they pitch in when they have a free hand and always offer great advice.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY CLEAN, EXCELLENT WORK … Today was the first visit to the DOG REPUBLIC… it was a fantastic one :) The service was amazing and the girls really care about my animals. My Golden Retriever was shedding so much and they were very accommodating and got her in super fast :) The staff is super caring and very professional. They did a fantastic job which consisted of de-shedding, bathing, nail trims, shaving/trimming where needed, ear cleaning and much more… they went above and beyond what was expected and I will be defiantly be returning with both pooches for the months/years to come!
