After what i swear was a 30 minute phone call consult with Seon I had the best experience getting my yorkie groomed. Call in advance because this wonderful lady is pretty booked up. She has new and interesting methodologies for grooming and basically has an innovative approach to every traditional grooming technique there is. I would say «well her previous groomer used to do this — » and Seon would say why it might not been the best approach and suggest something else. Seon has SO MUCH knowledge — give her a call just to chat about your dog’s needs and you’ll be amazed.

I made phone call this morning, and in the phone the staff is so impatient! I said I need to check my schedule and call her back, but she was so rude to tell me I need to book it right now! So rude. And I will not go here again!

Seon did a fantastic job on my black pom. The hair cut and grooming were very «professionally» made, and complete: hair cut with grooming (including trimming of nails, cleaning ears, teeth brushing, and hygienic trimming). She took a few minutes to discuss the cut and to hear any of my concerns. She was gentle with my dog, and had excellent communication skills (she texted me 15 minutes before the job was done so I could pick up the dog on time).
I would not hesitate to recommend Moving Dog Spa to my friends.

The groomer was lovely and on time! She was great with my very tough to groom dog. I have never seen my dog look so cute. Her prices are by no means cheap, but the work is wonderful.

I just took my lovely Golden Doodle to Moving Dog Spa. Seon was very accommodating and was able to see my dog within 2 hours at her mobile location. She took the time to make my dog feel comfortable and to listen to my instructions. 1.5 hours later I got my dog back looking freshly groomed. Most groomers take about 3 – 4 hours to do the same job. She was starting to matt very badly due to her long soft curls and love of swimming. Seon listened to my instructions and while my dog got fully shaved for the summer she still managed to maintain her cuteness. It’s a little pricier but I think worth the short time span, the professionalism, the personalized service and the end result. I will definitely be calling Seon again.

After going through dozens of Unilocal post on dog spas and groomers, I had stumbled across the moving spa. Reading all the reviews online I had dialed her. She wasn’t there to pick up right away, but she called right back. We had set an appointment and she texted me to confirm it and the day before she sent out another reminder! I had read that she was punctual, and right they were. My appointment was at 12 and at 11:50 exactly she was here! She sat with me for awhile and talked to me asked me what kind of shampoo I preferred her using. She also gave my puppy a nice nail trim! All in all I highly recommend her and I will be a regular customer !

I was very impressed with the Unilocal reviews which is why I decided to try the mobile spa in the first place. She deserves five stars for the following reasons:
1. Punctual: she was able to accommodate us on a Sunday at 7:30 am. Now that’s service. She confirmed the time twice and arrived ten minutes early to we could have a chat about grooming preferences.
2. She called me into the grooming session to let me know if I wanted an additional service, it would cost me extra. I thought this was very good of her so that I wasn’t surprised by the final bill. Very honest.
3. Skills: this lady has very good skills. She completed the task in one hour flat (most grooming places take double the time for our King Charles). In addition she massaged him with tea tree oil. This is by far his best cut. It will likely last three months so I wasn’t shocked with the tab of 80 dollars plus tip.
4. Personality: she is a very sweet and eccentric lady. She loves the animals she works with. She even assured me that she doesn’t give the animals treat during their sessions– just gentle touch and affection for reinforcement. I knew she was passionate about her work when I heard that.
5. Small touches that make a small business shine: she provided Seamus with a bandana to complete his look. I asked for a poop bag since I didn’t have one on me when I came down from my apt. She gave me a roll and a case. I appreciate her customer service.
Overall, don’t be too scared by the prices. She will make sure you love the cut. In addition, the convenience and customer service is extremely welcome in a city which could use a lil more!!!

Fantastic groomer and service! Punctual, efficient and accomodating last minute.
Having nails done in a van, it is a new environment for my pug. She was a bit stressed and scared but she is over it and will probably adapt in the future. The nails are the shortest and best they have looked in 5 years and none of the quicks bled. Amazing job!
I grabbed extra business cards to promote to my friends & clients.

Seon did a fabulous job on Bosco so convent that she comes right to us! She loves Bosco but I think she says that to all her dogs! Thanks Seon!

Moved back to Vancouver from SF and picked up my dog from boarding few days ago and he desperately needed a groom! I called Seon today at 10:30am and was able to get an appointment at noon for Kai! I love this whole mobile dog grooming as i was doing the same in San Francisco as well! Kai came back so fresh and so clean with a nice little scarf around his neck. She was also very detailed as she noticed some injuries as well around his neck from his rough housing at daycare and was just as concerned etc.
I will be using her going forward each month! Thanks Seon!

I have been looking for a good dog groomer everywhere! Thanks to Ayaka H, I finally found the best DOG GROOMER IN VANCOUVER!
I called Seon Gyoung (the owner and groomer of Moving Dog Spa). She came 10 minutes after I called her. THE BEST PART IS THAT I DO NOT DRIVE .
She was quick super affordable and cleaned my dog perfectly!
I will be callling her every month to come groom my dog. She is soooo kind and gentle.

I met the beautiful and talented Seon Gyoung when I saw her grooming van and I decided to give it a try a few weeks later. It was especially important as I was going to a show next day. When I met her for a consultation she never tried to rush me, gave me honest opinion about how my dog should be groomed and then she said she will be done in an hour … At that moment, I thought: really? An hour? The usual places I went usually took 2.5 hours! She was right, after an hour my dog had a beautiful trim and had a stylish teddy bear look including a cute head accessory. She did not try to overcharge/​cheat me at all. In fact, it is a reasonable price for the good quality work, (price is considerably lower than downtown grooming spas) so all those factors in consideration, I will return again. Seon is AMAZING!!! My 3-​year-​old spaniel has never had a full hair cut before and she HATES getting her nails trimmed. Seon came to my apartment in her mobile dog grooming vehicle and within an hour she had my puppy looking gorgeous and ready for summer. She gave her a full trim, cleaned her teeth, her ears, her eyes, clipped her nails and even did her anal glands. And the price was extremetly reasonable — much cheaper than anywhere else in Yaletown!
I’ve had other experiences with having my dog’s nails trimmed where she was traumatized and still panics if we even walk into that particular store. Seon obviously has a kind and gentle way with animals. My dog came out stress-​free, happy and beautiful. I would highly recommend Seon!

Here’s serious groomer with experience and humour.
My 4 month old puppy had long nails. Sun-​Gyoung came to have a look at my pup and she gave her super fast nail cut. Not only that, she also trimmed hair around and bottom of my puppy’s paws. She said now my puppy won’t slip so much on my hardwood floor. It looked so cute with rounded feet, too.
She said it’s an introductory service and she wouldn’t do to many things for my first timer puppy.
I’m going to call Moving dog spa today to book another appointment. Sun-​Gyoung knows what to do, what’s good and how to help each different dog.

Seon-​Gyoung is an A++++ groomer! She has groomed my small Maltese dog for many years and she is always quick and professional and his hair comes out even and nice! She trims his nails like its a breeze, something I am so scared to do myself! I would strongly recommend Moving Dog Spa to anyone, I am so glad Seon-​Gyoung is mobile now so I don’t have to take my dog to the groomers!
