Dueck Downtown

I ususally go to Dueck on Marine for my service but they were busy so they booked me in here. I was super impressed with their speed, I usually waste half a day for an oil change at the marine location! They didn’t try to up sell me a thousand things (only tires which I actually do need but will order elsewhere) I liked it way more than my usual service center I may come here forever now.

I recently purchased a vehicle and found the sales staff very helpful.

Horrible communication, horrible service. Took my car in for recall work, and after being assured by the appointment booker and the service desk guy that it would be ready the same afternoon, left it in their hands. Didn’t receive any phone call, so I wound up leaving multiple voice mail messages which were never responded to. Can’t get anyone that will talk to me until the next day at noon, and apparently the car ‘looks like it’s finished and waiting.’ The guy on the phone clearly has no idea what’s happening, who knows how long it had been like that, they just didn’t bother calling or sending the courtesy shuttle. Then I waited for 2 hours for the shuttle to arrive and get me, with multiple phone calls to ask what was going on, and they finally just sent a cab. They just don’t do communication, either with customers or their own people.

I Wish they had negative scores. These are horrible and their customer service sucks. Please if anybody wants good customer service and reliable GM dealership don’t go here

Really disappointing. I made an appointment to have my lock replaced (it had been punched) and thought I’d get the truck serviced while I was there. Dropped the truck off at 10, and at 2 I got the call that yes, my lock had been punched. Um … yeah, that’s what I said when I made the appointment. Well, they would be pleased to order for me the part and I could leave my truck there and it probably would be ready the next day. Right, because I can fly home on my broomstick? Anyway, I tell him I need my truck and I will pick it up that evening, and bring it back another day.
So for $ 400, I get an oil change, new windshield wipers and a ‘service check’. Would have cost me $ 120 for the same at Mr Lube, but whatever. Pick up truck after hours, and notice the Service Park Assist message is being displayed. No one left at service, and since I’m coming back anyway, I shrug it off. Let’s fast forward a week.
Take the truck back for the lock change, and I tell the service guy that the Service Park Assist light has been on since I picked up the truck. He looks through the previous service documentation and says that they did nothing that could have triggered the warning. They would be able to look at it, at an hourly rate between $ 65 and $ 120. Um … wow. I said «So you’re telling me it’s just an incredible coincidence that this message started to display after you guys serviced my truck?» Yup, that’s what they said. Anyway, I declined their awesome offer. I’ll take my truck somewhere else where they won’t eff it up.
On the plus side, the courtesy drivers are very nice.
OK, I have to add one more thing: if you give them your contact information, they spam the HELL out of you. I’ve received snail mail, phone calls, and text messages from Dueck. Seriously, avoid them like the plague.

I came here for auto parts and found a car salesman… oh but of course theres a sale on but but… But sorry I just want some parts, and that I found to be a well oiled machine and some good ol fashion service. Thanks guys… but no car purchase from me this time… They are located next to Home Depot under the skytrain.
