Into the Vineyard Wine Travel

My wife and I had a fantastic trip with them last year. If you’re interested in a particular region (we went to Burgundy /​Beaune), this is the way to do it. Dinner at the chef’s house… private tastings… unreal.

Caution! Refund policy! Through this company we booked a South France wine tour just days before our tour. Because of an Air France strike we had to cancel immediately after making the booking and they were not able to re schedule the tour during our week as no one else was available (after our one day delayed arrival). My wife requested a refund and we were immediately told no, to call our travel insurance (travel insurance did not cover airline strikes) and were directed to their web site FAQ where it stated they have a 180 day cancelation policy.
In emails to the owner Colin Simpson, I ask if they were out of pocket a cost given such short booking and cancelation time lines. His reply «I do not have any intentions of sharing our internal transactions or financials with you». He suggested we call Air France for a refund. Although he is pocketing our close to $ 800 fee we paid him.
