Caution after a large concert on a weekend at GM Place or Rogers there is always a huge line up of people getting drinks and snacks. It goes by fast as they have two people at the til, however, it’s dealing with the other customers, specially the wasted ones that can be a challenge.

Yes, that’s right, this one is a beauty. Open 24 hours, in good part of DT, Yaletown, so no whiff whaff here. I like their Redbox and magazine section in the right corner. Also sell basic fruits, and tons of coffee/slurpee choices. plus there is window action seating, bonus 4th star. Right by Steve Nash.

Will be contacting 7 – 11 corporate. The staff member Deliah, a older phillipino lady needs to be trained on proper customer service etiquette and professionalism. 1.It is very rude to push your dirty disgusting mop over your customers feet. 2.when a customer approaches you about a issue your response shouldn’t be to roll your eyes and walk away. 3. When a customer asks for your name due to the experience you have provided, your response shouldn’t be «that doesn’t matter to you». **excuse me?! You are hired as a public servant if you so much as do something wrong and the customer request your name, you are entitled to at least provide them with your first name. Needless to say, Deliah handled herself very unprofessionally. I will not be returning to this location and I will be telling people exactly what my experience was. 7 – 11 train your staff to provide a proper level of customer service.

Horrible Horrible horrible. Would you ever buy anything from a store with a dishonest store manager? I clearly asked the store manager whether the 99 cent refill deal is still valid for the reusable slurpee cups. He said yes and so I bought one(good for the environment). When I went back, he said that it’s expired and would not honor the deal. Not only that, he trashed my cup for me. Just awful.

7 – 11 … Pretty much standard in products, layout and design. This one is right by where I live. Like half a block. Been here several times. Staff is decent, not spectacular but decent. Until this evening. I walk in and go directly to where the pre– paid credit card area is. I am in need of a master card. I look but do not see one for 150 $. I go outside and ask my friend if he has seen ones for that denomination as I am almost positive that they do exist . Just then, a staff member comes out the door towards where we are standing(off to the side) and with a very dirty look on his face asks if he could help me — now this is a 7 – 11. NOBODY ever asks any customer if they need help — ESPECIALLY once they have left the store. This pissed me off as I could not believe that he actually was thinking that I may of «stolen» what is essentially cardboard & plastic that does absolutely ZERO unless activated. Not only this, but I was in Yaletown,(I was actually dressed up after coming from the Westin Grand) and had the cash in hand . Knowing he was clearly in the wrong to behave this way, we too went inside where we took another look to check for that 150 $ card once again, I then go up to the cash desk where’ nobody is. I see the same clerk who has his back to me. I say«Hi! Excuse me …» knowing that the actually pre– paid card activator was at the cash area. Many times so are the actual cards you purchase. This guy deliberately ignores me, keeps his back to me and does not come to help or even ring anything I may of had to buy. At this point I was furious. Even if the 150 $ MasterCard were available and even came gold plated, I was not going to be treated like this. Extremely upset at this and will be sure to be following up on this with management In the morning. Stay tuned …

Not the best 7 – 11 around. Pretty small and usually pretty busy. But that’s also not a big deal, since there are about half a dozen other locations in a 5 block radius from here. Also not the most efficient or nicest staff. The last time I was here I was getting a slurpee, and there was a mess on the floor. One of the staff members saw it and rudely half-asked, half-accused if I had made that mess. Not cool But hey, it’s a 7 – 11. It there when you need it, but you don’t think about it much otherwise. How much more is there to say about it?
