I just moved to Vancouver and after a couple of months was in dire need of a pedicure. A friend of mine suggested Jenny’s as she gets her acrylic nails done here and they look super great, not to mention it’s located literally 2 streets from my home. The experience there was good, the place seemed clean, but the job on my pedicure wasn’t the best. It started with one esthetician and halfway through the shaping another took over. One heel is still very rough, the shape of my large toenails aren’t similar(one is noticeably longer and rounder than the other) and not only did the polish bubble, but after 35 minutes under the fan it wasn’t dry, which in their defense they did say it wasn’t but I needed to get going so they wrapped me up, even after seeing the texture. I wore looser sneakers but my nails didn’t survive my short walk home. The shape and bubbling knock this rating down to a 3 star because regardless if my nails were completely dry, the shape was uneven and the polish was rough. My suggestion is get the UV gel if you’re not wearing sandals(it’s currently fall so I am not) and don’t have an hour to wait for your nails to dry.

Love these ladies! Always do an incredible job and make me feel welcome. Julie usually does my nails and they always look amazing. I’m a very picky perfectionist yet I lack the ability to sit still hahaha. Julie is very patient with me and makes sure I my nails look fantastic every time! Very affordable but I recommend booking ahead of time as there are many walk-ins and I am not a fan of waiting ;P

They did a great job on my manipedi. Both employees were friendly and had a great sense of humor. Their work was great, they got all the cuticles and did a nice shape. I accidentally nicked my nail(twice) and they patiently and politely re-did the nail without complaints. I’ll be back.

I’ve never given a place a poor review before, and I’ve also never had a worse customer service experience. Went to get a pedicure and the woman kind of scrubbed my feet half way, leaving them even more rough on the bottom then when I came in. She put some regular old drugstore lotion on them, so by the end my feet were dry and felt like sandpaper in places. I asked if she could fix it and she just told me that’s how they do things there and she’d give me 10% off. That’s not even three dollars. I told the manager that I was not satisfied and would be writing this review and not coming back. It’s not even just the money. The employees there didn’t listen to my concerns and made me feel like I was trying to scam them. I felt totally unwelcome and ended up going home and fixing it myself.

I go here all the time! Everyone’s super friendly and the nails aren’t overpriced ! It’s usually quite busy so you should call ahead, I usually get gel nails done without an added tip and at other places I’ve gone to like Stanley nails etc they’ve always done the gel layer so thick and fat that i would have to file it down, but at Jenny’s they always do it right and my nails look really natural and I always get compliments on my nails :) as for the other viewer about the colour wheel, so far all the colours I’ve choosen and same with my mom and sister have always turned out the way they looked. The last time I went I got a pedicure with shellac and the colour never chipped at all I still have some colour on my toe nails even though it’s grown out and has been 2 months!

I pass by this nail salon every day on my way to the skytrain, but have never gone in. I usually go to Varnish in Yaletown(which is awesome, btw), but I was short on time today and wanted to go somewhere closer to home. The manicure was perfectly fine: the aesthetician cleaned up my cuticles nicely, shaped my nails well and did a good job applying the gel polish I’d picked up. My one big complaint, however, is that the polish I chose looked totally different on my nails than it did on the wheel. I had chosen a really light nude pink, but it turned out really quite vibrant. I asked about it, and the aesthetician told me that was because the wheel was over a year old and had faded. If that’s the case, then it really should be replaced! The gel manicure came out to $ 30 with tax. All in all, I don’t think I’d go out of my way to come to this spot, but will probably come back again in the future(armed with the knowledge that the colours on the wheel may not come out as expected!).
