Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. It was just okay. We had calamari which was crispy but the calamari itself was dry and rubbery. Saganaki(fried cheese) which wasn’t anything special. And the chicken souvlaki meal. The chicken was done well, not dry at all, and the sides were fine. Service was a little forgetful but friendly if you could get their attention. It wasn’t bad but we probably won’t visit again as there are so many better options in Vancouver.

Great find! The small Greek salad is a good deal at $ 6, good size. The steak at $ 17 is well worth it, lots of veggies with. Nice atmosphere.

Finding a brunch location on Granville street seems to be almost impossible. You either find a restaurant that has decided to serve brunch as an after-thought, or a place that has a massive lineup. Olympia is neither and we thought it was fantastic. We walked in there around noon on Sunday and got a table right away. The restaurant was about 75% full and we had excellent service. I ordered the veggie eggs benny with sauce on the side and fruit instead of home fries. Even with my order changes, I still got exactly what I asked for. The food was good and I’m definitely going back.

I had absolutely no expectations after staggering in here after having already hit up several other bars. I had a blast. The bootfuls of mojitos definitely hit the spot. There was even rugby on the tube. The one-man cover band definitely made the night. Great times!

Wow! Hungry before an early film on Saturday night and stopped in here. We weren’t too hopeful but pleasantly surprised. Nice patio, good service, and the Greek food was fresh and good value. Nice little spot for an early evening bite.

On Saturday before catching a show my friends and I were wandering down Granville street in search of tasty, well priced food and a place with TVs so we could watch the Canucks game. We didn’t have to walk far before we came across Olympia. No one in my group had been in before so we decided to give it a try. I had the spanikopita meal which comes with the standard roasted potato and Greek salad. It was all really tasty and fresh. The rest of my friends ordered individual pizzas. I tried a slice of Amanda L’s margarita pizza which was really simple but delicious. The service wasn’t amazing and we noticed a lot of the staff standing around chatting instead of checking in on the customers but the food made up for it, so I’d come here again.

Wound up here for a pre show dinner during the hockey game with Tabatha Anne Y and some others. It was a cute little restaurant and we were lucky enough to get there shortly before it started to fill up. I opted for a Margarita pizza which was good but for a pizza that consists of tomato and cheese they could have put more than 1 small tomato on it! The guys are our table got a barbecue chicken pizza that made me really regret recently giving up meat… but doesn’t mean I couldn’t ogle it from across the table! The service left a little to be desired, while they were friendly enough they could have been more attentive. They took the drink menu after we ordered the first round… a little weird if they want you to continue ordering drinks? Later in the evening a friend ordered a drink that took 10 minutes to arrive, it actually came after the bill did!

We came here for a quick brunch since the place that we wanted to go to, we couldn’t since brunch service closed at 2:30 pm. Our bus didn’t show up at all, thus we had to settle with whatever was on Granville serving breakfast. Atmosphere: We were one of the few patrons there, therefore, there wasn’t anyone in their by the time we were served which was nice and relaxed for a Sunday. We were served faster as a result. There is no bling or Zing to the atmosphere, it is pretty plain and spacious which I can see work on a busy Saturday night. Service: Considering that we were the only ones there, we had nothing to really complain about. We even managed to break out waitress out of her shell and she managed to laugh and joke with us which is a plus. Food: They do not have much options being a bar and grill for brunch, however, what they did have came in good portions for a reasonable price. $ 8 -$ 10 for a full plate of breakfast the size of what you would get at Denny’s. Myself I had the 2 soft scramble eggs, toast, hash browns and some fruit which was okay, nothing spectacular as this was your standard breakfast fare, however, nothing too spectacular, just what was reasonably expected. Price: As noted above, around $ 8 — $ 10 per plate which is reasonable.

I was cold and stoic. My women nagged me for a pint, what a good girl. It was the $ 12 pitchers, talking about a good hook. We start with a small pitcher, yes all pitchers are small. Having fun we get hungry and order some honey garlic wings. Not knowing what to expect, we were greeted by a slightly sweet yet savory portion of wings that hit the spot. The honey did not overpower any flavors while the garlic was not a kick in the teeth, something I am more accustomed to. The garlic had an almost sweet roasted quality that lent itself to its more smoky qualities. Price, portion and taste were tops. The service was phenomenal, shouts go out to the Lovely Londoner Lucinda who reminds me of the cute doctor on Scrubs. Overall a wonderful new little bar and grill that I would like to see remain and evolve. PS While there I saw a drunk fool walk out with out paying his tab. The owner and a friend rand after the cod. Poor fool did not know his head from his ass and paid. I don’t know why he left and why he stood outside Olympia for 20 min. The joys of Vancouver.
