I used to go to noodle box all the time and I really enjoyed it. I always enjoyed the food, and I always left a tip. Recently I called in to place an order, and I was put on hold. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, the phone hung up. So I called again. Another 10 minutes or so on hold, and the phone hung up again. This happened 3 times, so I decided to go in to order. Upon arrival, I noticed the place wasn’t even busy. There were two tables taken and nobody was in line. I made ordered, and I didn’t tip. When I opened the box, I saw that my food was so burnt, the whole dish tasted like charcoal. The next time I went back, I didn’t tip. Once again, my order was burnt. I mentioned this to a friend, who told me that the one time she didn’t tip, they left the meat out. A tip is an optional thing people give you in exchange for good service. Most customer service jobs don’t even accept tips. It’s just really too bad that some people feel so entitled to a tip that they’ll spitefully do a bad job if you don’t give it to them.

Tried to place an order for pick up, was told it would take 45 minutes. I was fine with the wait so I agreed, I was then put on hold before being able to place my order. When the employee returned to the phone I was then told the wait would actually be over an hour and that it «would be faster» if I came into the restaurant. I declined and decided to eat somewhere else that night. The next day I decided to try again, this time going to the restaurant to place my order. I took my food home only to find it had been badly burned. The whole dish tasted horrible. Too bad this place has gone so far down hill the food used to be awesome.

Not the same as it used to be. This place used to be great but over the years prices went up and quality went down. We all know food prices have risen but that’s no reason to lower quality. I used to eat here all the time but have moved on.

Tried what I believe was a special, a coconut curry noodle box. Was quite spicy because the spice level started at a mild/medium, but was really good! Chicken in it was amazing. I’ve been to the Noodlebox at Uptown as well, but I like the atmosphere of this one more.

Two stars for consistently poor service. I’ve been in 3x in as many weeks — only because it’s close to work and the food tastes great. However I am not sure if I’ll bother at this location again. Counter service is abrupt and unfriendly. Not a pleasant tone of voice nor a smile in sight. And not because they’re in the weeds either. If you hate your job, maybe quit? As a regular of Noodlebox for years, the service at this location stinks.
