Quesada Burritos & Tacos

Just stopped by this place for the first time. One of the employees that was serving us was not very personable, which made it awkward when we said thank you and he didn’t even glance our way. Ordered two chicken bowls and a small drink. It came to $ 17, a little more pricey then I expected but whatever. The food was mediocre, basically a knock off chipotle. Nothing comes close to chipotle, I repeat nothing. I’ve made better chicken bowls at home, can’t really say I’d return to this place.

The food there was amazing, I went with my mom and sister once and we have been hooked since, it’s like a Mexican subway. They have arguably the best burritos in the Windsor Region, there sizes are huge and it always fills you up, Not to mention that all of there food tasted fresh, as if they restock daily. I love it there and I am a returning customer.

Yummiest burrito place in Windsor, not that there are many around. I got a large grilled veggie and black bean burrito, which was a nice change from bean and cheese most places have for a veg offer. And my friend got the pulled pork quesadilla, which looked amazing. Huuuggeee size. I’m surprised I finished it really. They really put a lot of toppings inside the burrito. All the ingredients looked fresh and tasted great. They use very fresh cilantro which is nice. If you get a meal you get a side of corn chips with salsa, which was pretty delicious. Three difference sauces, each with their own flavour profile and heat, a nice touch.
Really my only complaint is the staff wasn’t too terrific (I’d give 5 stars if they were better). They seemed strangely nervous and were slow. I imagine this to because they are new since the place has only opened up a bit ago, I assume this will resolve over time.
Anyways I hope this place stays open since for some reason every place that has occupied this spot has shut down after a relatively short time.
Note: also because of the quality of the ingredients, it’s not the cheapest place around. Think Chipotle prices. My meal came to about $ 12 – 14

This place is basically like subway for Mexican food. I ordered 3 cilantro lime fish tacos and was blown away! Great texture on the fish and I loved the options for customization. They make homemade salsas and offer a variety of toppings. The portion size of 3 tacos was perfect and the price was definitely right. If you’re in a rush and want something quick that isn’t a sandwich or wrap, check this place out!

They’re new & working out the kinks. A little chintzy — using the measuring scoops a lot but probably because they’re all new hires and I’d bet it a new franchisee who thinks they’ll save money by being exact. They won’t — people just don’t come back. I liked it and thought it was great. Not authentic Mexican but definitely southwest or Mexicali at least.
Fair pricing — but a little on the high side for fast food. Good though.
