When you go into a Starbucks, you expect World Class service and fluidity, and that’s just what I got. I have been going to this Starbucks for years when I used to live in Windsor, and worked at it a few times myself before they became a Reserve store. It’s big, cool, and the partners working are always fun and friendly. On this occasion that I went, I was just on my way home from my exciting weekend back home doing lots of nostalgic Windsor things, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, felt like I was being welcomed back. I was looking forward to my coffee, because I order the same thing, winter, spring, summer or fall. My grande one pump of cinnamon dolce, non-fat, blonde café misto was delicious as ever and the foam was perfect! It tasted absolutely delicious. My boyfriend who was with me, loves the Clover brew, and was excited that there was a couple in Windsor. He ordered the Komodo Dragon in the clover, as he always does and it tasted perfect. This Starbucks is also close to where my sister works, so I was able to swing by and visit her. Great stand alone location, the patio was open, if we we’re staying we would have sit outside.

Of the Starbucks locations in Windsor, they are all fairly consistent. From an architecture standpoint I’d say this one is the nicest, and fortunately making this location look nice can means that what you’d expect from there will be good too. It’s a decent sized place, good amount of seating in a nice glass walled room with high ceilings. There’s also a drive thru here, although it’s a bit tighter than the one on Tecumseh. There’s a bit of parking out front, but this newer area of Windsor is covered in parking so that isn’t a problem. I’ve never had a problem here, drinks are prepared the same as any other Starbucks and the staff are nice. This is yet another good Canadian Starbucks location.

Lame. Want a bold by the dinner hour? Forget it. This Starbucks actually stops brewing their bold coffee by late afternoon. «Not enough demand for it,» they claim.
