This location isn’t the biggest, nor is it the nicest. But the staff are helpful and surprisingly helpful for a grocery store. The produce is also much cheaper than at the other grocery stores near by. Their prices match a lot of street markets, but with better quality. They also do price matching here.

Prices are competitive to shops like No Frills and Food Basics. Produce selection tends to be ok, though the last few times I’ve shopped there they have run out of the«low price special» from the front on the flyer. I’m not a fan of the store layout, aisles seem a bit too narrow and it’s crowded at the checkouts.

I dislike FreshCo with a passion. I know it’s meant to be Sobey’s answer to No Frills, but the product selection in here is terrible, and something about black and green is not inviting at all. There’s hardly any gluten free products and zero organic produce. You might be lucky to find organic milk or yogurt, but there’s only one kind. Eggs, only the conventional mass produced grain fed — no organic here either. I don’t buy everything organic, but sometimes, I do need the choice. And it’s not like the price is any cheaper than No Frills. The meats are not especially cheaper either. We come here for the deals, not everyday. This location is very busy, with a crazy parking lot where no one knows how to drive.
