Another visit to HK, another need for some Yum Cha! Fu Sing Shark Fin Seafood delivers on all cylinders. The one specialty item I was most excited about — the roasted goose — was actually my least favorite dish I tried. But I can absolutely say the food is fantastic here, top to bottom. Better than I’ll get in the States that’s for sure! I’d rate this place a «must try».

This is one of the best places of dim sum in the Sheung Wan/Central area. It has many variety of dim sum and the quality is good. It is best to come with a group of friends, so can share with lots of variety. There is also complimentary Chinese desserts. Service quality is similar to many high end Chinese restaurant. It can be somewhat noisy, but it is part of the atmosphere of a dim sum restaurant. We were given a private room to ourselves on this visit, which was a bonus.

With high recommendations from a fellow foodie gf for their BBQ, off we went to try the yumcha. We got there at about 1.20pm on a Sunday and didn’t have to wait for a table. Be warned the menu is in Chinese but perhaps they have an English menu but luckily for my food companions I can read Chinese. Again, I over ordered… The problem of a glutton. So my standout dishes were: roast pork(I think they call it three layer pork, BBQ pork, deep fried breadstick in rice paper roll, black sesame sticky rice mochi. To be honest I thought the roast pork was better than the 3 Michelin star Lung King Heen but the BBQ is still better at LKH. I was disappointed with the roast goose — very dry and fatty, don’t bother, ordering… deep fried dim sum and the beef and truffle steamed rice noodle. But overall a very enjoyable lunch albeit pricier than other Yumcha/dimsim houses.

Probably the best roast pork 叉燒 in Hong Kong. Still warm tender & tasty when it arrives to the table. The rest of the food is top notch too. We come here for dimsum about once a month & it’s always great.
