Envoy has been opened for about 2 years, located in The Pottinger Hotel on Stanley Street. I’ve been coming here since they opened and would have to say it’s a good place to bring visitors and guests, as Envoy serves cocktails that are a bit different than the average lounge /bar with cocktail glasses shaped like a bird, owl, etc. The bartenders here are knowledgeable and would be to recommend you with cocktails carter to your taste buds. The food here are just okay, but drinks are worth a try. Weekends here are a bit packed, but it’s great to come here on a weekday to just kick back and relax.

Classic yet modern and creative cocktails. Its a very relaxed environment to have a drink in a busy H. K district.

If you’ve ever been to The Envoy for a quick pre-dinner drink you will have smelt the delights of those dining there. I decided to take my mum as a treat whilst she was in town as they have a spectacular cocktails to choose from. Unfortunately the kitchen was under refurbishment when we went, but they offered a very small menu of truffle fries, truffle spring rolls and anti pasti. We ordered them all(we were hungry after an eventful afternoon of shopping). Each dish was delicious, although the spring rolls were a little oily for us. The winner had to be the anti pasti. The bread itself was crunchy yet soft and the meat tasty and full of flavour. To add to this, they have an insane cocktail menu from alcoholic lai char to childhood favourites of coke floats with an alcoholic twist. We opted for a lime sherbet fizz. It was unreal. I will definitely be back to sample their full menu.

Love the cocktails there though a tad bit pricey… Outdoor area is nice too as long as no one is blowing cigar smoke in your face

This is absolutely my type of spot. Cute, modern, stylish, a hidden surprise in a touristy spot. The cocktails have a clean presentation & unique spark to them. Notes you wouldn’t think would go together, do. Cases in point: Birds of a Feather drink — Who would think to put fruit preserves, fruit tea, & scotch together, with the concoction remaining smooth & not at all over-powering? It tasted like juice with a slight hint of smoke. The smoke taste dissipated as I consumed more of the cocktail. Dinosaur — Dude. I was waiting for the ice ball to melt. I started poking it with my straw, a bit malleable. Then, I dove into it with my spoon. Discovery? The Milo ice ball is iced malt. Wth? How amazing is that? The drink is a dessert masterpiece that was hard for me to take down. Sinful, yet sickingly sweet. Worth it though. I enjoyed the Envoy. I envy this place because it isn’t back home…

Cosy new alfresco rooftop(on 3 floor if I can remember correctly) inside the new pottinger hotel. Very conveniently located in central and a nice relaxed environment for a drink. No view but pleasant, classic contemporary setting. Extensive drink list and posh crowd. Would come here if you are past going to night clubs and looking for a new spot other than sevva, and other similar spots.

Blood packs served on a surgical tray, cocktail glasses that mimic birds and a secret note on the side, drinks served in a giant dinosaur egg shell. If any of those sound remotely appealing to you, you have found a bar you will constantly want to come back to. I definitely have! This bar is under the same group as Quinary, Ori Gin, Tastings and Angel’s Share, they each have their own theme, this one in particular, are superb, gorgeous cocktails. Each drink is a piece of art in itself, all artfully curated and impressive when served. I came with about 12 friends on a Saturday night and everyone ordered something different. The«Wow» never stopped as the drinks were being delivered. The bar is located inside of the new boutique hotel, The Pottinger. Located on the 3rd floor, as you walk in, there’s quite a bit of space as you loop around the resto/bar. Finally, you find your way to the outdoor patio. It’s a massive patio space — especially for that area. Our table fitted all of us and there were at least 4 – 5 other tables just like ours. The bar snacks were mediocre compared with the drinks but to be honest, I wasn’t there to eat and was perfectly happy with my cocktail(s).
