Been here twice for lunch, first experience was honestly terrible. I got the pita with pancetta and there was about 3 inches of fat on each piece it was inedible. Also the cous cous is extremely plain and bland. Second time was marginally better, with Parma Ham, Relish and Gorgonzola cheese. Other than that the staff are friendly and the interior is cool.

Just popped in here as the rain was horrendous and had heard great reviews of this place. i was not disappointed. Determined to fill up so I ordered soup of the day and the prawn open sandwhich. The soup was tomato and absolutely delicious, served with 2 slices of brown bread. The prawns in a Marie Rose sauce were excellent however I found the bread, which was a different brown bread was too crusty and chewy to enjoy both prawns and bread together. A rocket salad was served on the side which was also very good. I was surprised by the size of both dishes, as for near enough a € 10, was brilliant value. A really great, relaxing atmosphere, unfortunately I found the staff to be less than attentive. i noticed a lot of people who came knew the owner well and she seemed very friendly, but I would recommend a more welcoming atmosphere for newcomers too !! All in all a delicious and filling meal and I will definitely be back.(I didn’t get to try their coffees as I was too stuffed but looked and smelled great!!!)

Grabbed a pita here, interior seemed nice but I was in a rush so I took it to go. Got the crave classic. It was a reasonable size and came with a small side salad. As soon as I heard the ping of the microwave I started getting apprehensive. Chicken was tasty but the bacon was extremely fatty. But you could hardly taste it to the overwhelming vinegar flavour. It was soaked! While nice to see something other than a burrito place open up I don’t think I’ll be craving this place again!

Well, well This is really surprising! The place is nice, decoration is nice, nothing too fancy but creative. Asked for their Classic Pita, well-seasoned salad, nice presentation, and quite affordable. Quite different from what’s around. Can’t remember anywhere similar to this.

Well isn’t this just the cutest little spot. Newspaper wallpaper, mismatched chairs, and a general air of relaxedness.(Yes that is a word). Unfortunately I can’t vouch for the food(yet), as I just stopped in for a quick cup of tea. It was lovingly served in a lovely porcelain tea pot, on a plate with a mismatched cup, and a napkin(paper uugghhhh — personal issue!) It was quick, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quirky. All ticks in my book. The only qualm that I would have(yet again) is being served tea bags instead of tea leaves. I do believe that some day, tea(not like your Mammy’s) will be given equal gourmet status to coffee. Just as serving instant coffee would be unacceptable in any café worth it’s(cake?!), teabags would result in similar derision. Until then though, it was a damn tasty teabag all the same. Spearmint. Tried it yet?

Really nice spot in here with very tasty salads and pittas on offer. Pittas come with a side salad and some of them with a side of couscous too. It gets quite busy at lunch time so get there early for a table. The staff are lovely too which is always a bonus. Their hot chocolate is top notch with real cream added and plenty of marshmallows!

We stopped in here on the way to a gig in the Olympia. There was a good choice of Gourmet Pitta options available on the menu from a classic chicken and pancetta to the more original spicy pork meatball pitta. There were also two sandwich options in case of bread cravings! We went for the Crave Chicken Classic and the Reuben. Both were tasty though the Reuben won out as the favourite. With good coffee, filling food and nice staff this place is well worth a visit. It is also very good value with our meal costing us just over € 20.

Crave Café creates culinary cpittas!(…) Nice pittas, well worth a visit, next time you’re thinking of going for a burrito, go for a pitta instead, ti’s both tastier and healthier! Anecdote: They forget about my order of a coffee with my pitta, so I asked them about it, and they were really sorry, and offered me a 2nd coffee for free as an apology. Hmm…

I’ heard rumours that pittas were to be the next burritos in Dublin, and I’m starting to think that might be true! I tried ‘The Italian Job’ — warm meatballs in a rich wine sauce in a pitta, along with a small bowl of cous cous and a side salad. Yum. Really liked it. Filling and healthy. Not too expensive either. I think it was € 6. Their loyalty cards are great as well: Every 6th hot drink is free, you get free wedges with your 6th pitta and your 12th pitta is free. Décor is bright and colourful, with intentionally mismatched furniture and good use of mirrors. Will definitely be back.
