Treat day today… Had a voucher for a detox foot spa down in Devonport at Kaizen (Japanese for ‘good change’). This is new to me, it’s called a BioPulse Ionic Detox Spa. You sit in a massage chair, sipping green tea, soaking your feet in salty water containing frequencies to help your body get into the right zone (7.8 Hz) for detoxing. The water turns an unbelievably horrible brown colour and can tell the tale of what we are eating, drinking and generally stressing ourselves out doing. I was pleasantly surprised, I’m doing ok. The woman next to me needs to stop drinking so much white wine and stay out of the sun! Afterwards you are treated to a reflexology foot massage, heaven. I left promising to drink more water, take magnesium tablets and to definitely come back again.
