Visiting El Yunque? If so, you must eat here. We had a little bit of everything and were not disappointed. Service was very good even though it was a busy place. Parking was tough to find but not to worry; People come and go and you will find a spot. Highly recommend it!

**good variety of vegeterian dishes ** Located In Middle of the rainforest this place is a savior after long hours of hiking. They also have snacks like muffins and energy bars and fresh smoothies. The staff is friendly and helpful. They accepted cash and credit card which was convenient.

I was tempted to give it four stars for having good vegetarian options in the middle of a rainforest, especially considering how hungry we were after finishing the waterfall hike, but it is just a counter service place. The sweet plantains were delicious and the beans had nice chunks of sweet potatoes and zucchini mixed in. The rice tasted like it had been made many hours before, but it is what it is, and after a long hike it is filling. I also noticed that the lady working the register was very helpful to everyone who asked questions about the park and trails.

When I first drove by this place, I was sort of turned off. «A burger place in the middle of a rainforest sanctuary?» I thought. HOWEVER, this place is the oasis in the middle of a desert that is hunger. And by that I mean the food is very delicious. I ordered the burger with grilled onions tomatoes and lettuce. The grill master then cooked the burger right out front on a propane grill, back yard style. And I kid you not, this was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The meat was seasoned with something delicious and after 2 hours of hiking it really hit the spot. If you are visiting the El Yunque rainforest, this place is a must stop. One word of caution though: CASHONLY. Bring some. Its worth it.

When you’ve been hiking in El Yunque for several hours, this place really hits the spot. They’ve got the barbecue outside and the smell of burgers brings you in. The hot dogs aren’t nearly as good as the cheeseburgers but the fries are great.

Good mixture of Latin food, empanadas were excellent, an the salsa was very good. They have plenty of seating with shade and easy parking. There was American food — burgers, chips and hot dogs if you’re a tourist with kids.
