A favorite place of my Mom(a local). We were a party of four. I have been here twice and have enjoyed my meals and atmosphere greatly. Yeah, parking can be troublesome, but take it in stride. Parking anywhere on the island can be a pain on the butt. You come here for the food and the low key atmosphere. The grouper and snapper plates are wonderful. My husband had the prime rib and it was fantastic. Read the menu to be sure you get everything you want. Don’t be afraid to ask for the little things, like horseradish. The microbrewey offers three different beers. To bad my husband got the last glass of the one brew he really liked. The service is low key and excellent. I love going to «local» places… yes, Hull Bay is off the beaten path; however, get out of tourist mode, be adevnturous…“go local”.

Resently my husband and I vacationed in St Thomas with another couple. The four of us are well traveled in and out of the United States and enjoy good food and good resturants. We were staying at the Ritz Carlton and looking for a resturant off the resort. While the hotel tried to discourage us saying the road signage was vague and they wouldn’t advise us going, we chose to adventure. WORTHIT! Let me start with our waitress, Missy. She could be a waitress in any five star hotel, bar none. The perfect combination between friendly, professional, informative and helpful. Missy was knowledgable about every dish and how it was prepared. She was helpful In making decisions while being impartial. THEFOOD! Oh! The food! We all had appitizers, entrees and deserts. Not one item disappointed. My companions had seafood and raved the entire meal. I must make mention of the Moroccan chick pea soup, it was heaven. Everything was so wonderful, we asked to meet the chef and was told they have several. No wonder all the food was exceptional. We spoke with one of the chefs and also met the owner. Wonderful meal, great people, delightful experience. A must if your in St Thomas.

We had eaten dinner here a few times and enjoyed the food and view, but our experience changed dramatically on Valentines Day 2015. When we arrived we were barely acknowledged by the hostess. No pleasant«good evening » or «Happy Valentines«. She was initially confused about our reservation which I had made several weeks prior. We were then shown to a table directly over a generator which was operating so loudly that conversation would not have been possible. We asked to be seated at one of several open tables and the hostess said they were reserved for other people. I argued with her to no avail. She was quite unpleasant and not at all accommodating which is unusual for a service business that depends on customer satisfaction. We left without having dinner and will never return to this restaurant solely due to our treatment by this hostess.

This place is over priced like everything on this island but the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I had the chili which was the special soup of the day and the caprese salad. Both were good. My boyfriend had the wedge salad which he said was lacking and the stuffed mushrooms that tasted a lot like celery. Although I wasn’t impressed, I would try it again on a night when they have live music and I would ask specifically for the bar menu.

Plenty of room in this restaurant to entertain guests. Food is good and very affordable. Connie is amazing and very hospitable. We attended a wine tasting and the wines and the food were all amazing! I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Worth the drive. Great atmosphere with live piano music on Saturday night. Prime rib and seafood selection were both outstanding. Nice selection of wines. Very nice views from the screened dining area. Service was also excellent.

The view looks great, but your car will have to work for it. The drive up to this Hull Bay haven if full of harrowing hairpin turns. Then again, it’s pretty worth it to experience the island’s only brewery. The Bruschetta was sloppy, and I was told that the Hummus appetizer was just okay. My Duck Breast didn’t taste all that fresh, and the texture was a bit rubbery but tasted great with the glaze. I also loved being able to choose two sides with my entrée. My risotto was fun, and the veggie medley was perfectly sauteed. They really know how to rock the tofu dishes. The Jerk Tofu was strong, but the Curry Tofu was better. Stay away from the NY Strip. It’s a bit mealy, and overcooking didn’t help. The prices are pretty standard for the island, but it’s a bit pricey for food that is just decent so I’m not sure I’d come back. Then again, the view is second to none, even in the dark, and the screened-in porch seating is a definitely plus.
