Über popular, but I’m far from an über fan. This place simply has to be breaking fire code on a regular basis… *always* stuffed with people to the gills, such that you can hardly walk, or even get a drink. Even when I’ve been lucky enough to have a table here, I don’t enjoy it — you can’t talk to people around you without shouting. I hardly even recall if there’s music… the acoustics are so terrible that all you can hear is the chatter, chatter, chatter of other people. I’d say, scene or no scene, avoid this place… especially if people are spilling out the door. It’s simply too cramped to furnish an enjoyable experience in my book. Although their fruity martini concoctions are pretty good — and deceptively strong!
