Great addition to the local area, short menu but quality ingredients and everything I’ve tried was nice(salads, sandwiches and toasties). Haven’t been later in the evening but looking forward to trying it out. They sell a small selection of chocolates and spreads etc to take away which seem an ok price too. Well worth checking out — although it tends to get busy on the weekend.

Super brunch dans le quartier d’Arsenal. Le café était délicieux et je recommande tout particulièrement la purée d’avocat avec chèvre servie sur toast légèrement tartiné de harissa. Chouette terrasse s’il fait beau.

It’s a very bright place, great for brunch. Amongst the 2 of us we had: — the avocado, harissa and goat cheese toast: that was a winner. It really nice and fresh, I’ll definitely start doing this at home! — the bacon cinnamon brioche: really nice but quite big and rich. I wouldn’t have one by myself but was good to share — the brunch board with cheese and saucisson: very nice but nothing special. We probably over ordered and could have done without the brunch board. I’ll definitely go again!

A somewhat new place to the café scene in Finsbury Park which in terms of eateries seems to be coming up rapidly with places in the area. Fink’s was recommended to me as a good brunch place to go check out and I’m glad I did. Some great bread(sourdour) and jams at a cheap price too(about £3). The gooseberry & Elderflower jam is great! Tried some salmon, sobrasada and harissa toppings separately; the latter two being my favourite. Overall it was nice and I’m glad brunch is becoming so popular in London now.

Cant understand how anyone could give this place 5 stars — staff did not seem to want to serve customers, had to ask if they had table service and for a menu. Our coffee was awful one only lukewarm and the expresso weak and bitter. FOOD not bad but overall service and attitude ZERO. Maybe some local competition will make them lift their game.

I stumbled upon Salt and Sweet and found it a great spot to relax with high quality coffee and creative light meals. A good place to visit if you’re a foodie.

Great place for breakfast — I love the avocado on sour dough bread with harissa and goat cheese. Nomnom. Coffee is very enjoyable. Never been for dinner yet. Styling is a bit too hip for my taste, but looks cool for sure. The Deli counter has some nice cheese and fresh olives, artichokes and other stuff that any bonvivant favours. Good to grab some fancy party nibbles or fresh bread.

Yes, caps is necessary bc this veggie is so happy with options. There are meat options but they of course, didn’t interest me. Here is what else I have eaten: Winter Greens– 6 pounds Cavolo Nero, Romanesco, Tenderstem Broccoli, Sprout Tops and Purpe Kale. Tahini and Maple Syrup. Sticky Toasted Pumpkin Seeds and Pistachios: crunchy veggies with the slight smokiness and crunchiness of the kale and seeds all done well. Again, a substantial portion. Winter slaw– 7 pounds Cabbage, mooli, kohlrabi, raddish, beetroot, slaw dressing, lavash crisp: I loved the think sliced beets as I am picky on their preparation. The crisp lavash balanced the slight crispiness of the cabbage and radish and the dressing was subtle. A good portion here too. Of course, the WINNER, WINNER was dessert: the chocolate crack for 5.50 pounds. This is possibly one of the best desserts I have ever had. The biscuit-like, soft cracker is layered with a caramel sauce and then topped with chocolate and crushed pistachios. There’s a substantial portion of crackers offered– 5 or 6? Alongside vanilla ice cream glazed with a dark chocolate crust. Man, it’s as amazing as it sounds. The service started off great and then, like everywhere in London, tapered. But overall worth it for the great food!

Really can’t complain about this — coffee, cakes, sandwiches etc. all top notch, and the staff are uniformly cool & friendly. Nice one.

A very welcome addition to East Highbury — superb minimal style renovation of an old military shop on Mountgrove Road. Staff offer attentive counter and table service. Lovely deli shelves offer a range of the goods on sale in the café, plus more. After our first visit, I’d highly recommend the delicious charcuterie board, smoked salmon bagel(so fresh & tasty) and a slice of the(very moist & delectable) Guinness cake. Try one of the Le Bénéfique organic infusion teas — made with endemic plants from the mountains — so refreshing & uplifting. This place opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner and should be wholeheartedly supported — so much effort has gone into the attention to detail in every aspect and it really shows. A new café love!

Though we don’t get out much anymore because of the little one, Fink’s is our new fave neighborhood coffee spot. It’s quite spacious inside with a small upper level and seating outside as well. They describe themselves as a deli coffee bar serving breakfast, lunch, and light dinner. Their sharing plates have a great selection of charcuterie and cheese! Yum! We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried here; from the unique sandwiches to the simple espressos. With it’s casual but cool air, it’s a great place to relax if you’re in the neighborhood. P. S. In fact, that’s our yellow stroller in the main photo!
