Glenwood and Springhaven on Spring Valley

As a recent resident, I really liked the apartment. The large 2 bedroom is perfect for a room mate situation. Older appliances and lighting or you had an option for an upgrade for a bit more– Fair enough. The only two issues I had with this complex was that my neighbors Tejano music was always blaring– Called police 3 times, management 4 times and finally had to threaten to call a lawyer to get them to make the neighbors turn down their bass. My other issue which was the biggie was the mold/​mildew in my ventilation system. I went to the office to tell them about this and the assistant was quick to say it was not mold, but mildew. I am not sure how he knew without even seeing it, but he assured me it was mildew. I said well weren’t they both capable of causing issues with the respiratory system? He said they were totally different– I said whatever it is I cannot breath when I come home and then about 30 minutes after I leave the apartment, I can breath again. When I requested that they clean the vents, his exact words were that they have over 900 apartments and cannot possibly clean them all. Mine was such that I could not use the CPAP machine for sleep apnea because my nose was always congested. Unfortunately, in Texas, they are not required to take care of this issue. So if anyone has any allergies at all, I would use extreme caution.

I am a current resident. I like it alright. It could be more family friendly. Landscape needs help

If you’re a smart person who enjoys peace and quiet and assumes that people are inherently good and will not vandalize your nice car, here’s your warning. Do not move here.
On the other hand, if you’re a loud person with no respect for other people’s property, then by all means. Keep putting scratches in other people’s cars, keep spitting chewed gum onto the hood of cars, keep incessantly honking in the parking lot. Keep running and screaming outside. Keep talking on the phone outdoors. I don’t care, I don’t live there anymore.
This may be the cheapest place to live in Addison, but it’s at the cost if your sanity, your faith in humanity, and your car’s paint job.

Still havent figured out that violating your tenant’s leases is not a good idea?
If anyone else has a guest’s car towed which is parked in a space not marked Reserved, Please feel free to contact me. I have been very busy with my biz the past few weeks but I will be filing in small claims against this management company.
Seems the property manager has continued to violate your leases by towing cars out of non-​reserved spaces. I wonder if the apartment manager knows the towing company or what motivates her to do this but if this doesnt at least cost her her job then I have doubts the home office is Colorado knows what is going on in TX.
How many «visitor» parking spaces are marked within this property’s grounds? There are none marked Visitor in the two parking areas close to the apartment I visit. I believe I saw 6 in a remote parking area. So, this complex has how many units and altogether you all can have 6 visitors, and that includes people who live in your apartment who may not be on the lease. So, what do they do for minor children who drive? Do they park in the remote Visitor parking? Then who the heck is parking in all the UNMARKED parking spaces that outnumber the reserved spaces in each lot? I own two vehicles, if I were to live here, where would I park my second car? I do have a minor child who would never sign on my lease, where would she park? In a remote parking area and walk in the dark to the apartment? Safe?
There is a very simple fix to this issue. Mark some Visitor Parking within each lot. Sell parking stickers to your tenants for any other vehicles they may need to park. I can go into the parking lot right now and there are more cars in the lot WITHOUT parking stickers than with. And, like your brilliant manager told me «we are only towing one a day» WHAT? No, if you are going to tow, tow… watch everyone move out or at least give you notice that they will as soon as they can get out of the leases you violate. READ YOUR FRICKEN LEASE. And, please do not let your manager tell anyone else that she can send out notices that violate leases and change them however she wants, that is NOT True according to the Texas Apartment Association. Remember them? You use their leases, I suggest you honor them. Yeah, I am contacting them too.
I really cannot believe that you guys PAID TO GET MY CAR OUT AND THEN CONTINUE TO TOW OTHERS. YOU WILL PAY THEM BACK, JUST AS YOU DID ME. OR, YOU WILL NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TELL A COURT WHY YOU DISCRIMINATED SINCE I AM A MIDDLE AGED WHITE WOMAN WITH MEANS TO TAKE CARE OF THIS.
